First Grow - Blue Dream Auto - Indoor - Amended Coco

Did some light foliage work to get light into the center.
ordered string. used wires in the mean time to spread out lower canopy.
will use string for upper.

the late bloomer looks like she will start flowering.
switched to 12/12 from 24 today.
i figured that it couldn't hurt.
ordering some root fungi to get the next project prepped. maybe some solo cups.
with two plant harvests coming up, i think i will have some time and stash to work on a single plant with proper lst and maybe scrog to see how much i can get from one plant.

no pictures, sorry. it's really rather busy and crowded. a mess.
one plant budding, one plant just vegging and growing taller. 6 inch difference and growing.
so..12/12 to get her budding, i hope.

accidentally broke a branch....it's a shame...nice producing stalk, has heft.
decided to tape her together and see if that stem ends up producing.
have to be more careful when i turn the pots.
the plant yet to flower,...twice as tall as the other.
one is short and stout. producing
the taller one is just waiting for the short one to move out

Just some notes

The nodes are about 1.5-2" apart on the plants. A little long for my taste and would like to see if I can make them stack better

My next grow, I am going to focus on one plant and see if I can get it to fill the 2x3 space itself with some lst.

Love the smell. Seriously smells sweet. Some pine. A bit of earth, like new puppy's mouth.

Flowers near me are trash. Hate being subject to the market.

Both plants are supposed to be autos but clear difference.


I want to trim leaves but for my first grow, I want to see how it develops. Will cut problem leaves.

If I get 2 zs itll hold me over until the seocond plant finishes, I hope. Then start the third and increase lst to try and improve my results.

I'm quite happy with the flowers forming for a first grow. Eager to see how they further develop.

I'm getting a bit lazy with the bigger plant. Waiting to harvest the smaller one over the next 3-4 weeks and then get the taller one better positioned for pruning and light.

Got a loupe. Looked at a few branches and saw different developments of the trichs. Decided to cut one bud that was further along than the others. Oh well. I just couldn’t wait

I think I’ve got a bid of waiting esp since I still see new buds starting to form. Pretty sure I will miss the exact harvest day and time with proper flushing and such, but as long as it’s in a decent window.

thought to myself, maybe this little bud will give me a taste of what I can expect.

Lowering nitrogen

Fan leaves are showing either a nitrogen deficiency or too much. - brown tips, curling upwards.

I think too much nitrogen since i have been adding cal mag, so lowered micro to 75% suggested dose.

picked a bud a few days ago. dried it and put in pax 2. smelled like grass but crisp. really not dense but i think i have 4-5 weeks to go.

gets me lit tho. 1.75 sessions from .3 grams. didnt even tamp or grind and fill, just put the mini bud in the chamber and cycled 1-4 as i smoked it.
a little slow to hit...like i suddenly realize i am high.

just packed a full bowl for the night and i am happy that i can say i am smoking clean bud. pretty amazing considering 3 months ago i didnt even have seeds in my hand. And it's good to know, in a pinch, I can smoke some during mid flower stage.

Trimmed a few flowers
From this set of seeds from humboldts blue dream auto, one is definitely indica pheno and the other is sativa

sativa so slow to flower. Vegged longer and slower in flower

I find myself real lazy with wet trim. Just drying for a few days and then vaping

I want to roll a fat one but I live in a densely populated area. I don’t think I could enjoy it.
One day soon....

I’m estimating about half an ounce here after dry? I don’t own a scale. Can someone give me their at a glance ?

about a lb, just my eyeball estimate

kidding but you shouldn't measure your success into any grams. consider getting this far immeasurable and smoke some of that sweet homegrown, good work

Totally agree. Just tracking my usage
Truth, looks like four eighths. Once knowing that, I can figure how long I can last or if I have to get more aggressive with grows. I don’t want to be caught dry and looking on the streets. Lol

that would last me 2 days lol

So...after my trim,I waited.
leaves yellowed on top
Amber came in on top
Bottoms greener than top
And cut it down

Very appreciative of this community.
Second plant seems four weeks -6 weeks out. I can say that now from the new experience I’ve gained.
Eager for that plant coz it’s appearing more aarika than the one I just cut down.
Here is the short plants harvest minute one branch.
Feel free to drop advice, criticisms or comments. Am thinking of making edibles. Might last me longer. And easier to consume while out and about. Chime in bros and sisters. My first grow!
