probably shouldn't keep your plants all in the same tote. If it's not to late maybe you could switch them into separate pots. Once they get larger the roots will fight each other and it can be harmful for your plants.

actually i think this is a good idea because there is more room. Also the plants look really healthy so i dont think they are fighting because they have enouhgh room

I decided to go with one single grow bin over individual pots because mathematically I can squeeze the most soil volume this way. I couldn't find any cheap square pots, and this is solution is still $15 cheaper then regular round plastic pots. I have roughly 21 gallons of soil in there at the moment, which is more then six 3-gallon pots, if they would all fit.

It's day 3 of flowering. Plants are growing pretty quickly. I watered them yestarday with 4-8-4 nutes. No burning thus far. I want to start very conservatively with nutes, i've seen great grows go kaput from too much nutes.

Still no signs of sex... I guess my plants are in the slow column when it comes to puberty, kinda like me. :-|

They are all growing very fast, the side stems are taking over. I am tying down a new side stem that shot up just about every day now.

I added some more pictures of various private parts of the plant, to see if I can find some signs of sex.

The clones are doing ok? They are all still perky, not limp. The smaller lower leaves are starting to turn yellow. I read the plant is sucking out the nitrogen and sending it to the top is that true? I didn't bother with detailed photos of the clones since theres no noticeable growth or rooting.

@newb19547

I was at walmart today and I saw they do sell those plug-in light socket adapters there for $1.38. I guess they were sold out forever. Half of the pegs in that section of the isle are empty.

I'm a week into 12/12 light cycle. The first sex organ showed up today on one of my plants. It is extremely small, I tried to get in as close as possible.

The other five show nothing yet. So far they're all growing like mad, two inches per day. I hope the males will hurry up and show themselves so I can chop them and give valuable space to the females.

I did the "tug test" on the clones, about 1/2 of them have roots. The clones are 11 days old now. It's obvious which ones are doing better, as their growing new leaves now. I'm still misting twice a day.

I'll post pics later today or this weekend.

MALES!!!

Well, two of my plants now show balls. The first three pics are my unknown hybrid which I showed last pic, balls are bigger and theres more of them. The last two pics are my indica (Afghan I think) thats now a male  The balls are 1-2 stems from the top main growth in little clusters.

Fucking sucks, I was hoping for my indica to be female. The other four plants I can't tell yet. I am currently 8 days into flowering.

I will be removing the males soon; In a way I was kind of glad, because the entire canopy raises a good inch every day. Basically every square inch of light in my grow box is now filled with green. Removing those two will give the other plants some much needed space.

Hopefully the rest will be females, I hear the males show first?

Here are some shots of the plants. The canopy is so thick it looks like lettuce. I tried to zoom in a little on the two males.

I also included some shots underneath the canopy. You can see my LST handy work, which is twine and a bent part of a coat hanger anchored to the dirt.

I watered again just recently with 4-8-4 nutes, still no burning.

The clones are 12 days old now. The ones on the right side (two cups and milk jug) are the males i'll be removing.

The last two shots are two clones that have obvious roots poking out.

I have them on 24/0 with light from a single 26 watt daylight CFL. I found three was making them too hot, they were showing signs of heat stress.
