Hello all, first posting and I wanted to run through my thoughts and designs of my small little cabinet.
I want to start of small and see how well I am, or ain't at this.
My cabinet is about 5 feet wide, 4 feet high and 4 feet deep. Enclosure is lined with Mylar, bottom right side has a USB powered inlet fan, upper left has two exhaust USB powered fans. I plan on running one of them most of the time, if it gets too hot I can turn the other one on. These exhaust fans blow into a PVC elbow and then slip joints. These slip joints have netting across them with an 1/2"-1" of charcoal for smell.
I found some rectangular pots, they are about 7-8 liters. I am hoping that I can LST them...plant close to one side and then train them to the other side of the rectangular pot. My crude drawing should explain. The blue is string for LST purposes.
I have some Foxfarm Ocean, screened/weed-free manure and perlite.
I have some pretty big CFL's, but according to the research I have done it is better to shoot for 8,000-10,000 lumens per plant. The large CFL's I am thinking of putting in a large clamp light right over the top of the plant and the smaller CFL's hanging around it. All of these lights will be adjustable, that is up/down. Once they get out of the veg-stage I will be switching over to a 2700K set of lights.
On order I have Dutch Cheese, Vanilla Kush, Bubba Kush, Northern Light x Big Bud Automatic,Aurora Indica, Papaya, BubbleGummer. I went a little crazy on my first order and being a newb I hope I have the means, room and ability to grow most of these.
