First Grow CFL Setup

Alright so I am considering an indoor grow using CFL Lights,
Currently I have 1 CFL 15w 2700k Light bulb, I am as broke as can be. I am thinking I can put the pot in a corner of the kitchen with white wall paint, I am also lucky because when the A/C is on it will blow air out for me on the plants. If this grow goes well I can sell 95% of it and make at least $50 to buy some more equipment. I have seen that I need at least 3000 lumen on my plant I have calculated that my 1 CFL bulb will put out 900 lumen, considering the lamp will be 2 cm above plant I will subtract about 150 lumen, that gives me 750 lumen. Will that work for some small baby seedlings? And I would love to have some tips, advice, critique. I want to hear everything that has to do with this.
Maybe when I get some money which will be around $15 most, I can buy another lamp and bulb or 2. Everyone wish me luck!

I dont know much, but I know you need way more light than 15w. I would look for a 65 watt CFL.

You want to get around 100 to 150 watts of cfl for 1 plant and around 50watts for each additional plant

oh ya and you want 6500k for veg and 2700 for flower, that bulb you have is for flowering

I'm starting the same setup as u bro. But I'm gonna use an aeroponic system and cfls for lighting. Not sure mow much I need yet. Keep me posted man. Wanna see how urs come out.

1st: you are using a warm white cfl...(it's orangish light...right?) That is the color for flowering stage...not for the veg stage. You can use a 23 watt cool white cfl to start a plant. I've done it...by week 3 you need another cool white cfl...and in flower you need a lot more but warm white.

I plan on Vegging for like 2-3 weeks, and then flowering the rest until buds are nice and ready. The only way I can make money right now is if I beg for some(which I'm not good at). It's an Orange light, and if anyone can, what is the price range for 50-100w CFL? I can pay for my part of the electricity bill, but for anything above $1.00 I cannot do.

Collect soda cans and turn them into a recycling center for money. I knew a homeless man who came by our college everday...he said he made $300 a month by collecting cans.

You need to get approximately...$30 to do the lowest budget grow that will actually work.

a 6 pack of 26w cfls are like $10 at walmart. And the adapters for each bulb would be $2 So your total investment would be ~$25

is it possible that i can flower immediately after sprouting?

btw the strain is unknown it is from a bag of good weed though.

The seeds are germinating in a red cup with water soaked toilet paper on the bottom and the seed on that, and then soaked toilet paper on the top, the whole thing is wrapped with a grey sweater. I started the process at 6:35pm today, so by 6:35pm tomorrow I can check on them to see if it cracked open, and there's a sprout.

Im a noob grower that is in your same place, im using two 13w CFL that are supposed to be the same as a 60w reg bulb or something, but anyhow. I am going to put some pics on here and ask as many questions as possible lol, just thought i would say good luck, and keep me updated if you can. Broke Blokes for the win.
