First Grow CFL Shed

sweet sweet, now i just wish the damn plants would show me some signs of sex, well atleast i dont see any nutz

if it is any consolation it seems the longer you have to wait the more likely they will be girls - though i don't want to set unrealistic expectations.

thanks though, i understand what your saying, hopefully time will fly by when im outta town and i can come back to some ladies, it would be day 15 of flowering by then

If you still don't see any signs of sex after 21 days or so - start looking for light leaks!

will that always cause no signs of sex, my box is inside my shed with no windows or nothing, and a little light leaks outta the box but non leaks out or into the shed, do i need to keep it tight, because i usually leave the door to the box a little cracked with an oscilating fan in the shed so it gets some more fresh air

the plants need at least 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness to flower properly otherwise the risk of stunted growth and/or hermies is greatly increased.

if light gets out then light can get in. the question is how much light is getting in - keeping in mind that the brightness of the full moon does not affect the plant's photoperiod but the full moon occurs for only a few evenings every month.

i think light leaks are over rated. just dont let there be light shining in when its dark. i turn my lights on if i wana look at them when there in the dark. it has not stunned my girth or gave me crabs

I'm inclined to agree but wouldn't it be better to err on the side of caution? I think this is BlueCheesy's first grow and we want to make sure we eliminate as many potential problems as possible.

I'd rather hear something like - "I shouldn't have even worried about that" rather than "why didn't anyone tell me this could happen".

thank you both so much, light cant get in because this reason, its pitch black in the shed , so theres no light to go in the growbox thats in the shed, the growbox just leaks some light

I'm glad to see someone growing blue cheese. Its one of my top 10 favorite strains!

Looking forward to seeing how this grow turns out! :hump:

Thats the problem with some growers. They loose patience. Hang in there, no need to worry about the little stuff. If you loose your patience now, what about later when harvest time comes along? You'll pick to early, not cure long enough and preety soon you have a bunch of smoke that isn't what it could of been. If you think your doing everything right, just sit back and wait.
