Hello, This is the first grow that i am doing completly indoors! ​

Comments / Criticism is wanted!​

I am using (4) 23Watt CFL lights.

(Nute) Fox Farm Big Bloom for veg.

(Nute) Fox Farm Tiger Bloom for flowering.​

Growing only one plant right now due to space.

Planted seed into 5Gallon plant container w/ organic black gold soil.​

Seed shell popped from soil and started showing signs of green leaves.​

Leaves are very visable, stem is growing.​
:leaf:October 13th:leaf:​
Stem is about 3in tall, leaves are bigger.​

Moved lights closer, 24/0 Lighting still, growing fast!​

Another set of ridgid leaves is begging to sprout from stem, will post pictures when more visable.​

sweet now that it has sprouted and is past the water leaves get those lights down close to it. looks good so far!

when it starts to get bigger i would add a couple splitters and bulbs to that equation and you'll be good. 60watts minimum per plant will give you a decent harvest. check out my grow in my sig. i have 4 23watters per plant and they do well, bout an oz a plant.

Yea the (2) 23 watt bulbs i got goin right now are just to start out i planned on gettin (2) 23 watt bulbs for the side and using the (2) i have now for the plant to have light to grow up to.

get the cfls on top as close as possible, the plant is going to over stretch if the bulbs are more than 3 or 4 inches from it. you want the nodes tightly spaced that way you get solid nugs and not little buds here and there going up the stalk. nugs form at each set of leaves, the closer each set of leaves are the tighter your nug will be. keep the pics coming. stay high.

d r0ck thank you so much for all the advice you have given me i set the lights about 4in away from the plants and set 2 side bulbs up also. Im thinking of goin down to my local hydro shop and buying some Mylar to surrond the area were my plant is.

Thermometer is reading a steady 80F in the closest and put a small necklace fan in the far corner so it can get airflow.

She seems fine but it can be hard to tell with them youngin's. Just keep the lights close, air exchange is good in fact a light breeze would be a great help to strengthen your stalk quite a bit. And don't overwater, biggest issue I have seen with babies, they are so sensitive to overwatering.

looks good so far, further to what HippySmoke said don't add any Nutes to at least 2 weeks into grow (possibly longer dependant on soil type being used), I also follow this when potting up in size.

Yes! Another easy mistake, don't feed that little girl till she gets hungry. And as the gremlin brother said that takes various amounts of time depending on soil. Once ya get a few grows under your belt (especially of the same strain so you know how it "speaks") you'll see when it needs neuts by a quick glance.

i hope it's master kush(my favorite) and i want to see how it turns out! you can set the light closer up to you.. i have mine literally 2-3 inches away. your buddy is looking good =D

Hey Ghetto Grow! I'm subbed for this, it's going to be a wild ride! Hey, check this out. I have to tell you this. DON'T USE Fox Farms Big Bloom for VEG. It doesn't have enough Nitrogen for veg stage. It's for flowering only. Use FF Grow Big for veg. Please. Check out my pics on my journal, you will see why. My baby is bald. because she didn't get enough N during her veg cycle. Big Bloom is for flowering only. Grow Big is 6-4-4. NPK> Bloom is 1-3-7. Not enough N for veg. My plant only did so well in the first 30 days because it was in FF Ocean Forest soil. It already had what it needed. I didn't nute until day 30. Hmmm. At day 36 or so I put her into flower. But at day 30, I started using FF BB. Hmmm. Wow. I don't know. Maybe I am just too damn drunk and stoned to figure out a proper thought pattern lol. Sorry if wasted anyone's time reading this. But the logic is sound I think. I hope. And don't forget to flush. About once every 2 wks. Just flush her. Otherwise, nutes and salts and stuff will build up, and cause pH lockout, and then you are almost screwed. Do you have a pH tester? If not, you need one, ASAP. Like now. Otherwise, you might have pH and nutrient problems, and not even know it. By the time you find out, it's too late. This is happening to me right now.
Just some helpful advice, I hope I am not coming off all belligerent lol. I been drinking Jose Cuervo Especial. Gold of course. yum.

so wheres the update....I have been following this thread (friend of d-r0ck) and want to see where you have gotten to. You can search my name and see what I have going on (same setup, very close anyway, as d-r0ck). Keep update's regular. The little sprout from October looks healthy, id love to see where she is now.
