what about my ? about the DWC water?

Im only growing for 60 days, So would they survive with just me adding water and nutes as the level falls? Then switching to pure water 2 weeks before harvest?

JB30, I just used the space/thermal/camping blankets that are sold at wallyworld in the camping section for like 2$ a blanket(only needed 2) and have some left over.

Thats made out of mylar. But REAL mylar is like 2mm thick(cant see through it if you hold it up to your eyes) and for a 25ft roll you can get it for around 30$. Ill probly buy some for the next grow. It has about 98% reflectivity so its very good for the grow room.

my bad...for some reason I thought I already answered that ?

Anyways, yeah, thats what you can and should do. I hear of some guys never changing out their res, and do just fine...I've never done that; i always change out my water every 2 weeks...you don't use that much nutes either doing 1 cycle...

oh...don't switch to pure h20 till about 3-5 days prior to harvest...hydro doesnt need that much time to flush like soil does

how long do you think it takes soil, im chopping in 2 weeks and I was gonna flush my next time watering...
Im pretty sure thats enough time and im just gnnna watter with pure h2o after the flush

Well I just went and put the 18Gal RM in the grow box...Ya thats not gonna work,lol.

Its ok. Ill just do 4 plants in like 1Gal containers. buy one pump with 2 airtube hookups. then get 2 splitters. that will hookup 4 airstones : )

and will fit in my box perfectly : )

Thanks you so much JB30 for the advice. I have so many questions and Im so confused about growing. Hopefully Ill get it all down pat soon,lol.

I read in the FAQ that you flush with pure H2O 2 weeks or 3-4 waterings before harvest.

Its not manditory but its greatly effects the taste and high.

Read from the beginning just now.. Plants seem to be doing good..

I started a grow almost 2 weeks ago, using 4' flouresents, so i'll be keeping up with this one..

Truth be told your grow journal inspired me to start my own grow journal. It's my 1st grow and my plants are behind yours in maturity. More to come
