Alright so i have a few questions that would be greatly appreciated if someone could take some time to help me out. As you know this is my first grow, i'm growing Dinafems Industrial plant (It was the runt of the litter that i bought). I'm growing in a 1x1 Tent with 600 hps light. Have 8"Intake, 6" exhaust, this is to keep my temps down as it is relatively hard in a 1x1 tent with 600hps.. . . . 1. My plant is over a month old, mind you it looks healthy (Imo) but it is bushy as all fuck! Now for my first time i have decided not to cut anything off and let it grow, any tips to what i should do. I mean the fucker has about 30 sets of leaves and is only just properly forming it's 5 fingers... 2. How much longer should i wait until putting my baby into flower? Plant looks super healthy, but being in a 1x1 I would most def, top her and allow the side branches to come up and make an even canopy, maybe a 4 top method is in order?. More tops across the top is much better. So that and I would wait 6-7 weeks of good veg or if topped, when the tops all reach even.

It's kind of a good height to flower now but I would top it. Flower it in two weeks, no longer. You don't want that to get too tall. It looks great.

Oh, and stick the top that you cut in a glass of water and change the water every day. Get yourself a clone to do it again with.

Hmm ok, i've tried avoiding topping or doing anything to plant for my first time. But if it needs be i will, what do you mean by a 4 top? I know if i pinch the main stem 2 will start growing from the spot, is this correct, do i do this twice to achieve to 4 top you mentiond? Also is my plant abnormaly small for being about 5 - 6 weeks old?

You will be happier with the results if you top it. Just pinch it once. There will be two growth tips at the node directly below where you remove the top. Those will expand, but also, the node below it will catch up with those (ideally) and then you have 4 tops. If you leave it to it's natural inclination you'll get a basic christmas tree shape, with a central cola sticking up above a wreath of side branches. The cola grows into the light, the side branches don't get enough light, you have to trim popcorn buds until your eyes bleed, oy veh.

Straight forward i like it. Should i make the pinch now or hold out abit more? To me it looks pretty well developed but to think only a few of them sets are 5 fingered, it bugs me.

4 top method is topping the plant and leaving 4 branches only. This will grow up and give you 4 tops instead of one. The lower u top the faster the bottoms will come up and make an canopy. I would top down at least 2 nodes then clone that top. Wait 2 weeks after you top her (today) then start 12/12. Now keep giving veg nutes until u see flowers starting then give her some p/k for the first week. then just P for the next 3 weeks then P/k and boost the K .

Ok topped it just before i read that last post and thankfully i topped it 2 nodes down (I think!!). Not going to worry about cloning her not interested, just want to purely focus on getting through my first plant without to many problems. Now you mention using P + K. Would using a 2 part flower nute be doing the same chemical balance you just mentiond? or should i be mixing it myself? I'm confused now..

Not going to lie though, i felt sinister ripping her head off!
(I will further update with how she goes with growing 2 new heads!)

New question, do ever have to run plain water through her even if i don't get any burns. Like will it be good for her, or does it only benefit 3 weeks before harvest?

Looks healthy to me. unless you are trying to limit space looks good.

Ohhh no. She's got a whole 1x1x2 tent to herself, pity she's such a compact bushy plant and won't take up that space lol!

its good to give plain water, then wait 20 mins then water with your nutrients. This will ensure a more even feeding, also the 2 part nutrient program is fine. Go slow and easy and she will rock . Now she is topped, wait 10-14 days before flowering for BEST results. Also her size is just her genetics, looks great.

You will be very surprised at how much space she takes up after 3 or 4 weeks of flowering. Big change there.
