Hi am embarking on my first grow big buddha cheesus and a couple of unknown freebies. There vegging under 125w cfl at moment and aside from some poor germination seem to be doing well. I just wanted to see if anyone has actually grown this strain before as most of the stuff on the net about is just the same sentence on every site...

100_2399.jpg here's a pic of the crown from the cheesus i've just cut down, the plant stretched quite a bit when i turned her to 12/12 and the buds were very whispy but she smells wonderful, like lavender and fruitiness just like buddha says, every body that has smoked her has ended up with a big stupid grin all over their face lol the pistils on this particular specimen stayed mostly white with very small calyxes if you can use some bat guano to bring out the full fruitiness from her but beware she will stink the place up quite a bit so odor control WILL be required.

Germination was fine i over watered the seedlings and retarded a couple so gave them away thats why i only grew 1 out did you soak the seeds 1st like they recommend? The smoke from my specimen is very smooth with an earthy after taste which is surprising because she was grown in coco very nice taste and smiley head with good strength, would i grow the cheesus again? Yes i would no problem because the taste and smell is so sweet and nice.

None of the presoaked popped at all so switched to straight into the paper towels put another couple in today only wanted to get to 4 plants and have now been through 10 seeds. Will have to wait an see what happens but so far ive had better luck with the freebie seeds. Im startin to think the cheesus could just be an iffy batch ! Still worst case scenario and no more pop then it looks like cloning the healthy one could be the way forward.
