FIRST GROW!? coments welcomed! 1 plant1/2oz short and simple

Hey there!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that after quite a bit of research. Mostly on this site by addictively digging through threads on a damn blackberry phone. I managed to grow me 1 decent plant on my first try and gained a ton of knowledge of experiance.
And I'd like to thank everyone on RIU for their insight!

Simple grow. 2 24" flourescent tube fixtures. 4 bulbs total, one 5 gallon bucket, MG organic soil the cooling unit out a mini fridge (helped temps and kept humidity down in damp basement) all put inside of the shell of an old clothes dryer I gutted!! Sorry I eventuly moved them to a larger closet so no pics of Stealth dryer.

4 weeks veg then 6 weeks flower under tube lights (wide spec flowering plant light) followed by 2 1/2 additional weeks in new cabinet under 400 W HPS till finished.

very nice looks good i am not experienced but just like you i am on my first grow and this site has helped alot but like you wath=ching a plant through its first cycle gives you more knoledge then you could hope for. did you use seeds or clones and do you plan on cloning at all? i tried mg organic and i got alot of bugs with it di you have any problems?

Yeah had a little prob with knats used a fly strip and added 1/4 tsp of chopped garlic to top of soil NOT THAT I ADVISE THIS it worked for me took about 7 days then no more sign of them. I then took off top 2" of top soil and replaced it with fresh. oh yeah it was a bag seed out of some northern lights. Only bean in a qp so I saved it imagine my joy when it turned out to be female

I put a Tupperware container full of water in the cabinet for extra humidity and the next day it was full of gnats that wanted to go swimming.Simple and effective.

I like the MG organic myself and will continue to use it until I find a reason not to ya know!!
I used a mix 2 parts MG organic POTTING soil and 1 part perlite.
The strain is susposedly northern lights but wouldn't bet my life on it or anything. But def looks to be one of the white strains. When dried it was white as can be with tons of orange hairs.
I smoked a little with a buddy he was like where you get these nugs??! And then he was pissed I didn't see if he wanted me to grab him up some!!
Little did he know!! It came from the basement!!!
