Why don't you grow right along with me. Throw a seed into germ and just copy me step by step. Plants vary so I wouldn't judge your apples to anyone's grapes. I would have fed 2 times in those two weeks.

Yeah mate, I think you are putting too much nutes too early..

that pic of the 1 week 2 day, so far has had a VERY low dose nute, one single time, of Peruvian Guano, Fresh Farm @ 1 teaspoon 1/2gal, and Silica Blast @ 1/2 tsp 1/2. From the 1/2 gal container it got like 1/16th of the juice in there only. The rest is simply watering it normally when you notice it looks dry.

I dunno on the advice I have been seeing to keep nuting it up etc but some strains can't handle this. And if this is your first grow -- you are better off simply letting nature take its course while you are learning the ropes.

My suggestion? Scrap this plant - it's not going to make it. Germinate another seed. After the seed has a root tail, simply put it in its growing medium till it pops. When it pops stick a light on it watering gently for about a week or till the second leafset has formed (not the one after the initial opening, the ones AFTER that (it should take no longer than two weeks max?). At that point SLOWLY put nutes in. Don't let anyone tell you what amounts to put in this has to be up to you. Don't fret and don't over nute.

My suggestion would be is to give them a small amount of something. If it works, give them incremental amounts. Your goal isn't to over-feed the plant. It's to nurture it and simply help it along.

I have attached a few shots of my current seedlings that are going following the advice I gave you. I've been reading this thread since the start and just didn't want you to lose any more time and seed.

Sorry if Im out of place! I hope I helped!

Ok this is what I did.

3/11 Seed planted straight to soil in a small yogurt cup with the candy lid over it for humidity. (humidity needed to be raised from a constant 10%)
3/12 seed popped
3/13 seed dropped cots opened placed under 2 800 lumen 5k cfl 6 in
3/14 2nd watering plant raised to 5 in
3/15 Lid removed (humidity)
3/16 Left alone
3/17 Left alone
3/18 3rd watering and transplanted to solo cup as root was coming out the drainage holes (1/8 Fox Farms Big Bloom in 1 gallon)
3/19 Raised to 4 in and light sched at 22/2
3/20 left alone
3/22 4th watering clean water raised to 3 in
3/21 left alone
3/23 left alone
3/24 Transplanted and 5th watering with 1/4 big bloom and 1/4 grow big
3/25 left alone (changed light sched to 20/4)

Ph checked several times both soil runoff and water. Between 6.8-7 for the most part. Temp between 68 and 81 and humidity between 39-49%

When did it start to burn off yellow? Maybe start a new seed after what you did on 3/18 just leave the light on it, watering it clean?

hmm..

Sounds like you are water logging the leaves mate. When you leave the dome on them so long, its likely drenching too mch. After you develop taproot no need for dome, just straight in medium. I only use a dome for clones, and then those leaves dry out they turn yellow.

I'd say put her out ofer misery. Or just germ another and let that one do its thing, it looks on its death legs to me :(

It's better to face reality on your own terms, than let reality face you. Thanks, I'll let it be but I have another in the germ process. Just got done. Can I still use the nute mixes I had made?

You can leave the nutes sitting aside its fine. You wont need them for a while :) Cheers. I hope this bean does a bit better:

Germ->into soil under light. No dome. Best results!

well from your schedule i see you did nothing wrong. ph is good. you let water sit out so no chlorine. wonder if its just a bad seed. more experience is needed to help more. i would just see if she grows.

Through a Pur water filter and a sit time of 24-36 hrs.

Yes, she can recover. The question is at this point would she recover faster than a new seedling will over take it? We will see in a week as he is germinating now.

only time ive seen this is when chlorine was in the water. he wasnt over feeding well i mix up gallon jugs then water/feed accordingly. i wounder if he did add to much nutes. i mean these are weeds and should grow. i wonder if hi soil is hot already? that would do it.

Is he failing at growing? No

One of his variables isn't where it should which is causing this.(also could be bad genetics)

As far as nutes I wouldn't give them until the 3rd feeding.. maybe 2 ML at the second.

Temps look good but too much variation will stunt growth.

If the roots were running up and down the side of the pot then it sounds like you have some great roots so I wouldn't give up hope.

1 thing I would always remember is yes these plants love humidity but remember on those scorching weeks outside when grass is dying etc.. The weeds are thriving. Don't be afraid to lay off misting and stick to a watering schedule of every 5 days.
