First grow...do stems look ok?

Here are pics of first grow..look at stems are they ok?

So There was a build up of a white crystal like substance which i assumed is salt. Am i right about this? As I said I am new to the indoor game so any advice would help. New to RIU as well and am thankful there i so many helpful, knowledgable people out there!! Thanks to all for your help and encouragement..so here is what I have going on... :joint:

looks good to me man, if you want the stems to get/grow stronger, put a small fan blowing on the plants. That causes the plant to use more energy for the stems to become stronger/fatter to defend itself with strong wind

Thanks for the info mn. I will find a little desk fan right now!! Its gonna be some good tasting cheese i hope!!
