First Grow, Does this look normal?

HI Everyone.

First grow here and I just have a couple questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seeding has been growing for about a week now. Its been outdoors 100% of the time, had it in a make-shift greenhouse up until a few days ago as the weather was a bit cold still. We had a real hot day recently and it got, for lack of a better word, baked, there wasnt enough ventilation and airflow. Had a ton of heat stress. It's starting to recover now, but the cotyledon leaves have since turned yellow and look pretty bad. The first set of true leaves look more or less fine. Just wondering if this looks ok for a week old seedling? Growth has seemed to slow slightly and the stem still seems pretty thin. Also, came home today and the leaves were pointing almost vertical? Is this normal?

Soil ph is likely slightly alkaline, I have a tester coming in the mail and will be able to read that hopefully within a week and correct as needed. Using Miracle Grow Moisture Control (18-10-10).

Only watered a few times, no nutes so far. Havn't adjusted water ph at all, just using bottled water.

Pics arn't great but can hopefully show what I mean.

I got more reading through the threads to do, but just wondering if you guys think i should be worried at all?

Thanks for the help :)

Looks fine, don't stress. And resist the urge to overwater her.

However, learn how to make your pics smaller, it takes forever for a 3mb pic to load and people will be trying to help you but get frustrated over the long wait for pics to load and lose interest in helping you.

My bad. Loaded the pics from my phone didn't realize they'd be a problem.

Good to hear things are seemingly ok. Being patient is hard. Ha. Thanks for the advice

So far so good. Those little
C-something leaves she uses as food as a seedling so no need to feed until those look perty shot. She's lookin good, like the posts above me said be careful not to over water. If your questioning if she's thirsty or not cause the tops dry, just must her leaves and very little around her base so it doesn't suck the moister you just sprayed on her. Her stalk is gonna be kind of thin for a while so e jental with her. I like to put a light breeze on seedlings in my option the plant adapts and tuff end the stalk up

FYI mirical grow is ideally only for veg stage when you flower I suggest a roots organic.( I like to mix it with ocean forest ;)

Oh ya if they were pointing down she is thirsty or way way to over watered(kinda of a bitch but decifer by pot weight, light=thirst heavy=logged) if pointing up I like to think their reaching for the sky (stretching for more light) but it could also be to hot. I've heard herbs programmed to keep cool from to much heat so they stretch to find the cool win breeze up high

Thanks for the advice. I was gettin a bit worried for a minute there. Patience is a virtue I suppose. Not guna water til Sunday most likely. Guna let it soak up every once that's there

One good idea I learnt was to let them go without water until you see under watering signs and then you will have a better idea on when she wants it.

Let that bitch get dry as fuck, water around the outer perimeter of the pot (away from the stalk) makes the roots expand for water. The bigger the roots the bigger the fruits.

that soil you are using is HOT on nutes already, definetly do wait for awhile to add any extras in....I think miracle grow claims to have enough food in the soil to last a plant 6 months or something like that....I don't like that myself, but I hear people grow very fine smoke with miracle grow, so, what ever works right? good luck to you man.
