The 6" is bad? It's moving a ton of air. I think you are looking at the fitting I have on the end of it. Are you thinking its one of those 25$ ones from HD or lowes? It's not, I can't remember the brand offhand but it's a good one. Moves something like 2-300cfm. But yes you're right. Temps need to come down. I'm thinking by the time I get to harvesting this crop it'll start to get cooler outside and I can hopefully keep the rooms ambient temperature like 65-70, then the grow space shouldn't get above 85 I'm thinking.

also there is the possibility of me getting hold of another closet soon. This oones in an air conditioned basement, so temps won't be as much of an issue... Considering going HID for this one. 20" x 4' x 6' maybe 2 250s side by side...

day 29 of flower. Some new pictures. taken with a better camera. the buds are starting to dust up a bit now. I noticed as I was doing some pruning today that my fingers really smell good after touching them gives me hope.





any tips on when to harvest?

I don't have a microscope so I wont be checking trichs. I'm just going to start thinking about harvesting around the 8 week mark. I'm about half way there now.

Update:

A few days ago I flipped my 12/12 schedule to have the lights come on at night and I also moved a few fans around and got the proper sized flex tubing for my exhaust. Now I'm happy to report that temps at the tops of my plants have finally gotten down to around 85-87 with lights on!

nothing really explosive as far as growth though, even with the temp issue mostly solved. Thinking they're just maxed out in the 1 gallon pots they're in. would it even be worth it at this point to re-pot them? or just let them finish? giving them 3-4 more weeks probably then will see how I've done.

Plants are making slow progress, this heat wave were having isn't helping. Temps in the upper 80s in the closet, low to mid 90s at the tops the girls are definitely not happy. Going to try adding some molasses on the next watering.























Here's one of my setup just for fun: 6" inline fan for exhaust, you can see one 4" desk fan blowing across the tops towards the exhaust. There's a clip on desk fan blowing up at the tops, also two box fans you can't see.... Can't wait for fall and cooler temps outside...

just wait till winter, instant improvement, I am soooooo looking forward to winter in the absence of more than one 5k btu a/c right now, your bitches, will frollock, what state you in? if its as hot as fuck like Florida, just bare with it, and go balls deep in the winter, cause youll hit maximum yeild during those months if you have major heat issues. Its common, its not like if you heat stress them, they will turn up not getting anyone high... I give away/sell and smoke all my shit, and ill be damned if i dont get hit up, just dont be a greedy sob when you sell when your first starting! Be gentle, like i am, give out samples, and good deal prices, and you will get biz. (that is if part of your reason for risking your ass is to have a great second income like me). ever hear the term "if you build it , they will come"... lmfao

Update: I'm about a week and a half from my harvest date. I could probably let them go longer, but I have a vacation planned the first week of sept and if I don't chop I will not have smoke for vaycay and we can't have that now lol... Plus I have six more vegging in my backyard. Started on some LST and I topped one. Still bagseed but should turn out way better given how much I've learned. Pics coming soon.

anyone have some input about the yellow leaves? I have seen plants do this when about finished, but im still a week out from my scheduled chop date.

Pics of the harvest. Haven't got a dry weight yet. Hoping for at least a half oz. not real stinky, hoping it still does the trick at least.

So I tried some of the smallest popcorn buds yesterday. They smelled real good when broken up, definitely works. Hopefully a week or two curing will do something for them.
