First Grow EVER

So today i went and bought Epsom Salt. I Added one tbs of Epsom salt to a gallon of water. I watered my plants with that... so we will see if it makes any difference. I hope so. :roll:

Blah.. im still waiting on my light to get here. ... Its been almost a week.... i really hope i didnt get fucked!!~!~!!!!!:evil:

I called Htg today and asked them about my light to make sure everything was going ok. They told me that they havnt shipped it yet. And for the inconvenience they are sending me 2 free hps 400w bulbs xD. So ill have 3 bulbs which is great!!!!!!!!! YAY.. but they are shipping it out today and it should be here before friday. :mrgreen::hump:

That happened to me as well, then they didn't send the extra bulbs, I emailed them, then they sent the extra bulbs. I'm satisfied with my light, I just wish I would of gotten a 600 watt, and a different hood/reflector.

I've had a similar issue and mine are recovering well.
I wouldn't give any nutes until they show some improvement which will prob take 1-2 weeks, mine took 10 days and are finally healthy again.
Ill subscribe and try my best to help ya out.

Sorry about your puppy, my Wife is big into dogs, well animals in general.
We have 2 cats btw and yeah I kno they are like our kids...

I think they look overwatered, its worth a shot though. Try what he says, those stems look fucked.:neutral:

LG Like to commend you on your grow even though you hit a couple bumps in the road recently. Good for you and your husband. Hey If I were you I'd germ some more beans meanwhile continuing to rehab your current plants. Then I'd put the damaged plants outside and kinda let them do their thing like the two your husband has outside. This way you wont be totally givivng up on them, but you wont be expending so much energy fighting a potentially losing battle. From one noob to another hats off to you for the bold step you've taken. I don't know about you, but growing has quickly gotten under my skin and I'm obsessed I think from here on in I'll always have at least a couple of plants just for the head.

ty for you wonderful comment. I have 40 seeds germinating right now. We plan to have 30 inside and we are going to do 12/12 right away. If more then 30 pop up and say Hi then they will be put out side. I really just want my light to get here. I think it will help out alot.

Ok. so like i said i have had my plants on 12/12 for a week or so now. Even though they are in bad shape i wanted to see what would happen. I know i know its bad but oh well. This is why its my first grow. To experiment. So anyways!! The two plants that i had inside on 12/12 showed me there sex today. One was a male and the other is a female!! Yay!! Boo for the male though. Im keeping him though. I put him out side so he will go back into veg. Im going to have him pollinate with another female when i have one. Well here are some pics.. Tell me what you think!

Female.. Hard to see pistils but they are there!!!:hump:

I decided to bring in one of the plants that i had out side. Im putting it on 12/12 cycle with my female to see if i can get another female. When i woke up this morning my female had even more pistils coming out around where the leaf steams connect to the main stem! :hug:

so now i must play the waiting game.. OH OH but my light comes in today!!!!!

Ok well my one plant is a girl and and other is MOST DEF a male.. Im goin to pollinate my female though. Not the whole thing but a branch. I want seeds.. And i think this is how i should do it.. :hump:

Also, I have a new grow journal for my 12/12 that im doing. From seeds.... GO TO IT lol i mean if you want.. the link is in my sig... :hug:
