First grow/expectations/ grow box/ 2x 1000 watt HPS

ok , first off I am a newbie and this is my first grow. thanks in advance for any help.

The questions i have is. What should my expectations be on yield. i have 17 plants in a 3x5ft. grow box in a room, plenty of room w good ventilation, with 2 1000 watt HPS hydro farm lights under 24 hour veg, ( probably going 18/6 soon to cut back on elect. bill).

i am using fox farm ocean breeze for soil, and fox farm "grow big" for nutes. they are only ab out 5-6 inches tall but growing well so far. I want to veg them until they are about 2 ft tall then go to 12/ 12 to flower. What should my expectation be for yield?

This is my first grow and looking forward to at least 1 1/2 lbs - 2 lbs.

usually you get 1g per watt so maybe 2lbs if you take the time and get it all dialed in

A gram per watt would be 4 lbs he is using 2 1000w hps you sniff and good luck with getting 2lb per 1000w only I pull that down!

hahaha, thanks bud, that helps alot. I was going to say, 1.5 lbs should be minimum, 2 lbs is more like it. i am going to wait for the plants to be 2 feet in veg then go to 12/12 for 6-8- weeks. so expecting 2 lbs is not far off then? NICE!
