This is day 14 and the girls are looking pretty good in my opinion.
How do you guys think it looks?

Look great! Mine are just about at the same spot yours are. I’ll update new pic’s tomorrow.

Day 15
When do you guys think it will be appropriate to top the plant?

Popular opinion is after the 5th node. Right now looks like your at 3, starting your 4th. Probably due it good to let it go for another week.

Day 19 to bad I’m away on vacation my brother took this picture for me he also said it’s starting to smell too!
I’m gonna raise the lights when I get back home! They look like they are getting a bit to close.

Looks good. CFL’s can usually be inches away. If you take them too far away the light won’t be as powerful. Should be between 4” and 10”. If you can hold your hand (backside towards the light) for 30 seconds and not nurt your hand, your good to go.

Day 30
A lot has happened with these plants the 1st and 2nd picture show a white spot/bleaching on one of my plants which I think may have been it being to close to the lights.
What do you guys think it is?

I was away on another family vacation and things got out of control.

In the 3rd picture before I left to vacation I was doing some LST and I went a little overboard and snapped the stem, it was only holding on by a string so I got some duct tape and wrapped it and hoped for the best and it is turning out quite nice both are becoming bushy and branching out

Some bad growth but I will prune the leaves that don’t get as much light

Looks alright. The white spot could have been caused by a bug that got on the end. You can clip it off just to make sure it doesn’t spread, it’s also a real small spot so it won’t effect the rest of the plant. It could be a bleach spot, though usually the tip or edge of the leafs will be brown from being burnt.

I just watered today i let the soil dry up good so they should perk up soon.
For both plants I’ve seen brown spots on a few leaves I’m not sure what it is

Should I trim the really small leaves that don’t get as much light as the top? Also I haven’t fed them yet. It’s been straight water I’m still waiting on my nutes I’m gonna use Advance nutrients 3 part Bloom Micro and Grow

What do you guys think about it?

I would start some nutes but go easy and watch what the plant does. You may want to keep an eye out for checking the sex. Looks like you may have a male. If you have some undergrowth fan leaves keep them there until you see what the nutes do. They may spring out and get light. Or you can try to get a light low. More light, more yield.

Looking good TJ. Keep training them. One in my avatar was 30 days old when pic was taken and some fan leaves removed to get light through the canopy. Been vegging it and 2 other sisters and 9 clones. 3 taken from each plant under a HyperTough LED Shop Light from Walmart. 33 watts - 150 watts equivalency. Cost $20.00. New COB Light Full Spectrum White is arriving tomorrow. Will be putting the 3 plants under it. Then transplant the clones and leave them under the shop light a little while longer. I'm still heavily LST'ing the 3 and have an 18" spread on them keeping a low even canopy. They are currently 42 days old today. Keep us updated on your grow and good luck.

Looks like you need to get some extra lights in there so them leaves can start poking up and might need to do a transplant plant seems to be getting to big for current pot

I’m hoping to get better light soon, i’m Thinking about getting the Optic 2 COB led. One of my plants are having issues that I hope to fix I think it’s a pH problem not too sure I’ll get some pics later and transplant will be soon!

If pH the problem try some Dolomite lime, don't have a ph monitor but thought I had a ph problem added 1-2 tlsp a gallon and seem to fix problem, slight nutrient burn but only on the tips of leaves

Alright guys this is a before and after pic.
Earlier I was having either a nutrient deficiency or a pH problem that I’m 100% sure I just corrected.
Now I’m just waiting for my baby to heal her self up.
I fed her for the first time with Advanced Nutrients Bloom, Micro and Grow



Day: 45 July 3, 2018
I did a defoliation on her, I took off most of the leaves that were dead/affected.
After I fed her she perked up right away and the Problems I was having earlier has come to a stop by the looks of it.
I’m still tying her down and trying to keep an even canopy and doing some LST also.

OH YEAH by the way as you might have noticed there is only one plant now my dad took the other one which he is growing outdoors and it’s looking beautiful But I have no pic sorry maybe in a few days or hours I’ll get some pics.


I want to show you guys this also this is where I snapped the whole stem by accident and it healed really well the knuckle is as hard as a rock
It healed at a 90 degree angle and it looks dope lol
