First Grow Feedback

Hello! This is my first grow and I wanted any feedback as far as what you guys think the yield may be, suggestions, etc. I am growing 6 plants (3x Northern Lights, 3x Vanilla Kushes) under a 600 watt HPS light. I have been flowering the Northern Lights for approximately 5 weeks.

The main cola pictures are from the Northern Lights.

Damn nice my cola isn't even near that big and its been flowering for almost a month (first grow also)

Do you have any pics of yours? And thanks for the compliment, I've invested alot of time and money into these plants

nice. that huge vertical bud makes me want to try a single cola grow.

Thats what one of my Vanilla Kushes looks like , your plant looks healthy (leaves spread out flat). Let me know how your harvest turns out and i'll do the same! Cheers!

Btw, what strain are you growing?

ak48 from nirvana, Did you get your seeds from nirvana as well? I will keep you updated ;] I have 2 plants... well 1 1/2 plants. First week of flowering my gf's stuff fell down on one and snapped it in half.

that is lookin perfect, great first grow, im on my second. Say, that's a 600 watter eh, any chance you been over to the 600 club? some cool cats and neat stuff goin down over there may want to check it out. Learned alot from those guys n gals

@Karmapuff The Northern Lights were from Nirvana yes, and the Vanilla Kushes were from the Attitude Seed Bank. I'm sure your plant will recover if taken proper care of.

@Feirefiz I will definitely check out that 600 Club and I'll update you guys when I harvest.

Does anyone have any experience with growing Nirvana Northern Lights or Barney's Farm Vanilla Kush?

I grew Vanilla Kush, well attempted, and it hermied on me, I loved the plant too, a great structure, huge indica leaves, but showed female before the switch to 12/12 after about 12 days or so of 12/12 started putting off nut sacks all over. I see other peoples VK and they look great though, I might have to try it again. As for the Northern Lights, its a classic you can't go wrong with. Oh, and very nice job on your first grow.

Thanks for the feedback OutdoorIndica! From this first grow, I found out that Northern Lights have excellent tolerance to factors that would otherwise severely harm other plants. I found out that the Vanilla Kushes were more prone to nute burns than the Northern Lights, but about 3-4 weeks into flowering the Vanilla Kushes' buds are growing exceptionally well despite having a few nute burns here and there.

Thanks Rollbluntz! I'm a few weeks away from harvest (2 1/2-3 weeks to go!) Starting to flush this week. Anyone wanna guess the yield for the main cola in the first pic?
