Be careful not to overdo it. They look great. When the soil dries out they go to bloom nutes. Have a batch mixed up and ready to go![]()
Thanks my man! I have to go to sleep at this pointThey're using water at an amazing rate now.. I do light watering in between nutes and regular watering.. if its dry three inches down give it like a third of normal.. The pot weight works well in smaller pots but kinda hard in a five gallon..
These bags are even worse... If you can move em, they need water.. suckers are heavy..
Really?! That's ecouragaging. Just reading a lot of cfl horror stories about people yielding 10 grams, or 18 grams, etc. on their first grows...makes me nervous.I think you will be pleasantly surprised at harvest.. They're just getting started..
Lol my hermie when i found out about it at week 4 i chopped it and yeiled like 17 gs wet 8gs dry w/ led and cfl. only usable buds well most developed one. Gets me head high. Almost all gone tho. Looks like you will have a decent harvestReally?! That's ecouragaging. Just reading a lot of cfl horror stories about people yielding 10 grams, or 18 grams, etc. on their first grows...makes me nervous.
I'm trying my hardest with the environment most of all. I might put my window AC in today and put it on a timer with the plants. Opening and shutting windows isn't working and is too all over the place. If I can get it locked down now I can prolly yield even more than if I had it all outta whack.
Cobs r the way to go man. I love my cfls to but I only use my cfls in veg. At the time of going to flower i asked myself if i wanted to get flowering cfl bulbs which woulda cost me about 80$ or Go a different approach. i decided to diy 10w cob chip led instead. Cost me 33$ for 40 of em. (2) 1 inch 3 feet cut to 18" of aluminum square stock 16$ and i bought a laptop cooling fan with 4 fans 21$ 7$ for artic silver, 12v power supply 378 watts can power up to about 30 amps i had extra at home and i put me together a 360w led light for my 2x2. Just about 80 bucks. Figured the led would be better for flower, n i like to diy plus it seems more room effecient as it is only about 3 inches thick and covers 18". I did add extra bs to the light. Maybe unnecessary things but eh lol. All them cfls and stuff i bought and extra cobs and all i put up for backup. Justin case of emergencies. You do have a sweet ass setup!Nice sounds like a cool mix! If I was to continue growing after this I'd be mixing in other things but I'm just waiting to buy a house and then just go cob led from timber lights... all tech will have been analyzed by then and I won't have to do as much research haha.

Week 3 starts, 10:20pm
-Fully pruned/lollied both plants, took probably more than 20% of the leaves off. Really freed up the canopy and under growth, pulled the weak shoots down low that started developing
-Top two inches of soil was dry but below was still a bit moist. Gave them each half a gallon of water to help with the pruning stress. Ph was 6.1. Left it and watered.
-Tucked and weaved fan leaves to allow all sites light.
-Tied down and pulled branches diff directions to re even out the canopy again after stretching. Not too harshly though ...
Caught a couple gnats on my sticky paper, added a peice below each canopy and one up top.
-Turned the inline fan up to high (205cfm)
*still need to remove carbon filter and clean it and shake it etc*
Bud are looking good!!! Dropped the lights back down and we'll see how they do this week.
