Hmmmmm my b-day is coming up and I just quit smoking cigarettes so maybe I deserve it.. The money I save smoking may qualify me to dig deep into my pocket. heh But $500 is so hard to part with. I hate spending. But $5 a day for smokes x 100. So about 3 months of not smoking pays for it. I want to start vaping and quit smoking all together.

I know the very cheap vapor's are junk! I really dont see 500 being necessary but i am not a vapor dude. I would imagine he is right in saying 120 or so will get you a decent one. If you quit smokes then you deserve anything you want! you know danm good an well that you are saving your life and thousands in the long run.............I am cheap myself though too.

I am trying to pick one out now. The wife is gonna buy me one for my birthday. Sweet. I don't even have to dish out any cash. heh But still can't bring myself to buy the volcano.

I am down to 2 choices. I will let her decide because she is buying. The major differences are price and size. The magic flight launch box (link) may be the one I go for. It is small and portable and under $100. My other choice is Da Buddha (link). It is larger and plugs into 110 and not very portable and costs about $180, almost double the launch box.
Quitting smoking is tuff, I have smoked for over 20 years. This is my 2nd time quitting. The first time lasted over 2 years and then one night I was out drinking with friends and the rest is history. It has been a year and a half since I started smoking again and I got to the point where I hated it again. I was enjoying it for a while I must admit. I used it as an excuse to get outside and take a break but now what I was taking a break from (daughter lol) follows me outside so it defeated its purpose. Plus it smells gross, its expensive, and it smells up everything and makes a mess. It has been almost 4 weeks since my last smoke and I only have the habit to deal with now. The addiction is easy, 3 days maybe you are free, but the habit lasts about a year. I start my truck and reach for a smoke but there are none to reach for so I carry a pen. I have dinner and almost go outside when I am done but I remember on my way out and do some dishes or help clean the table. The morning coffee, I go to my grow room and say hello to my girls and maybe a little wake-n-bake. It kills my motivation early but it makes me not motivated to go buy a pack of smokes. lol

hey man just wanna say that i love the grow dude! i just bought some short ryders earlier today and started freakin out cuz i heard some pretty shitty reviews but my nerves have calmed down since readin this thread! i cant wait to get some lil girls (hopefully) growing!

I was the same way til a couple weeks in and they were stinking up my house. I trimmed one lower branch the other day. I smoked some of it last night. I was blown out and went to bed early. lol
I've been smoking some crappy seedy schwag for a couple months. The little premature bud was a welcomed treat. The buds are getting big and shiny like a glazed donut and still have a ways to go. Good luck with yours. If you ordered them from Nirvana you should get a 10 pack of unnamed freebies. I am germinating 4 of them right now.

I was in home depot today and I had fun in clearance. They had lots of shelving and cabinets on clearance. The bed of my pickup was full when I left. heh I got a few shelves for my garage and I got a rubbermaid storage cabinet which is going to become my veg room. Well maybe, either that or the old fridge I am not using anymore. I am undecided. The fridge will be more work but better in the long run I think. I already have an old psu and a few fans from a couple of old pc builds. Only thing I am lacking is motivation. lol

awesome dude! i feel a lot better about my purchase! i order from worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com and yea they are nirvana reg. im thinkin about just breeding watever females i get from them that way i dont have to keep buyin more seeds! lol. or i was thinkin about doin a pc grow for one female dependin on how many females i get so i have a lil more bud. now i kno you got a small tent and i was thinkin about goin the same way to. got a couple Qs on it! wat size is it? how much did it cost? about how many ryders ya think it could hold? are ya happy with the purchase? thanks man!

It is 4'wx2'dx5'h and I paid $68+$20 shipping on ebay. I won an auction on a 3x3x6 tent but they said they were sold out and offered an upgrade to a 4x4x6. I took a downgrade though because 4x4 is too big and they threw in some yo-yo hangers for my light. My 1 big girl is taking almost half the tent. But I think people say you can do 1 plant per sq ft so you can get 8 if you set it up right. Mine is a mess heh. I went out today and got more pots that are similar to the ones I have the northern lights in. So it will be more orderly as I add new plants in. I am all done with the aerogarden I think. I will give it to the wife and she can grow herbs and spices in it.

awesome! i think ima try and find a 3'x3'x6 that sounds about right although 6' tall seems a bit much for autos. i dont really plan on growing anythin but autos just cuz im doin it for personals and im an impatient kind of guy lol 9 months just seems to long for me to be takin care of more than just one plant! i kno myself id prolly end up killin more plants than anyone ever should!but than again who knows

im also glad i got this strain if it knocks you out! i suffer from insomnia and i dont like takin sleepin pills cuz they make me feel like shit the next mornin and i build up a tolerance for them really fast! im all about the indicas man!

Some of the short rider phenos are not autos. I am not sure if mine are autos. The big one is 12/12 from seed and showed sex 21 days from sprout. And the 2nd one was 2ish weeks veg then 12/12. And the 2 northern lights are 12/12 from seed too. I have heard of people having 4 footers but outdoors. I am tempted to go snap a pic because those buds are getting big. I was hoping for an once at least and I think I may get over that. This has taken me about a half hour to write because I just puffed and watching tv too. lol I blended what I had left of the sr with a little of the crap weed to get rid of the spinach taste and it works. heh

hhhmmmm..... well hopefully i wont have any trouble with them. wat light schedule would you suggest to start em on? i was think of goin 24/0 or 20/4 for the first few weeks and if they dont start autoflowerin just hittin them with 12/12. when would ya say i should start them on nutes? ive heard that they are really sensitive (i believe i read it in your thread as well.) oh and im just gunna be growin in soil not AG. i have never grown before and i dont want it to be any harder than it has to be lol.

The light schedule is up to you. I read people have great success vegging under cfls but they get long and stretchy under MH. My little girl was looking flipping sweet til I drowned her. They don't like nutes or water in soil. lol I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest and they love it but I would suggest dilluting it with some perlite. And no miracle grow products. I went to 3 store looking for perlite yesterday and all I found was MG perlite with nutes in it. I will go to my local hydro shop tomorrow and pic some up. I think I will try 1/3 or 1/2 perlite mixed in with the ocean forest. I am gonna do soil and bubble buckets from now on. No more aerogarden.

I am using Technaflora recipe for success. Everything you will need for $30. However, I ordered the General Hydroponics Flora Micro and Flora Bloom. According to the Lucas Formula, that's all you need. Can get them both for about $20. Then again, others swear by foxfarm nutes. Good luck

I found out today why they sell waterproof tds meters. lmao Usually I use a dropper to grab some smples but I just got up from a nap and was drinking my coffee. lol So aaaaahm, yeah, I think I need a new tds meter. I think I am gonna dish out some cash and buy a nice 3 way meter with the little probe attachment. Any recommendations?
