They've been hanging since Friday and they are getting close to dry. Some of the smaller buds will get jarred tomorrow or the next day. Because they're kinda airy. The cola is heavy and thick though so will be a few more days on that. They stink already and don't have the grassy smell like the quick dried bud did. Stinky sticky icky. They are covered with crystals and I can't wait.

Yeah it is a tuff wait. I should've waited another week for harvest but I needed some weed.. heh

I think the small buds will go another day or so but omfg, it definitely is way better. I packed a bowl and gave it a test, 3 hits, toasted. It is wierd, it almost feels dry enough but my gut is telling me to wait a little. The bud I smoked was quite airy but the leaf material in the bud is so thick and sticky. I almost have a boner, best weed I have ever smoked because I grew it. heh

Ok after a little reading other opinions it is all in jars curing. The buds are quite airy and not very compact. The cola is still a little moist so I have the jar open still but I cut it up into nuggets so I can not hang it up. I will have more patience next time because I have 2 jars of patience. lol The jars are quart size. The smaller airy buds all together weigh in at 33 grams right now and the cola is 27 grams. I chopped off all the sticks and crap then chopped them up and into the trash. heh

I fucked up all my extra hash materials. lol I made the mistake of freezing them right away without drying first. I tried to dry it but it was gross like rotten spinach so into the trash it went. heh No biggy, I know better now. I still have lots of bud to last me. I ordered some hash making bags from http://www.sprungbags.com/ and I will have some more to harvest very soon. The wet rat is starting to ripen with a few red hairs so far. Her buds are running down most of her main stem now forming some freaky cola stick. lol And my guess is about 6 weeks til the northern lights are done. I have them both LSTed and they have many buds growing up to the light. OK here are some pics.

Thanks. It smokes great. I have been smoking it for a while. It is a lazy high and tastes nice. It has a sweet smell now. It smelled like skunk the whole time but now it kinda reminds me of sweet fragrance with a hint of diesel fuel. When I break it up I get a smell of black pepper on my fingers when I am done. The buds I have been smoking are from a branch I harvested a while ago so I can only imagine how much better the new stuff is gonna be when it is done curing.

That is awesome. It is nice to know someone actually read my mad scribblings.

I have the soil finishing up and then I will start the DWC/Hempy grows. I was also thinking of getting a single top drip for a nice trio. Feel free to join us and chime in on the new journal man.

Is anyone still scribed to this thread? Today I checked on the other jar that is curing in a closet and took a little sample nug out. Wow! I haven't touched it in almost 2 weeks and it is way better than the other buds which were being opened multiple times per day. It is alot smoother too. Both jars produce a nice moderate clear headed high which makes me want to clean but I did harvest a little early. I am going to let the wet rat go as long as I can to see how the high is. Plus it is in soil to boot so I can compare the taste myth. If anyone is still scribed and wants to see some pics just reply and I will take some and post em. I also just put some new pics up on my other thread if you want to take a peak.

I took pics of the final product(what is left). I have smoked over a half z so far. Check it out, I am proud. After I up load here I am uploading in my other journal too. Lots of pics of the wet rat which is so close to the end and lots of pretty northern lights shots.

Plate with the little pile is leftovers from the cola and the big pile is all the side branching.
