The casualties have been high but I am making real progress. What does everyone think ? I think I am finally on the right track. Next up is taking a few clones and praying for some females. Maybe try to get a little seed to.

They look nice and tight man.

How old are they?

Why not take a clone now and put them on 12/12 and see what you actually got there?

They are about 8-10 inches and the seed began germination 24 days ago. I am waiting till I get clones from all of them before I flower. The two in front are WW. The one in the rear right is bag sead. In the rear left is WW however it looks nothing like any WW I have seen, its leaves are much darker.

looks like they've grown real fast! what are the conditions? light and soil, etc?
Its 86 and sunny with a 5% chance of misting.

The light currently is a 400w HPS with a lumatek digital ballast and easycool 6" reflector. I am for the first time surviving without the use of the AC. Prior to yesterday there was a 600w HPS in the room. The light is on timer running a 21/3 schedule.

My soil and light were behind the death of most of my little seedlings. I transplanted the 4 to three gallon pots of PROMIX from homemade mixes gone bad and the plants are loving it. I will never use another brand of soil, despite the nearest ProMix retailer being 45 minutes away.

Each plant is getting 1 gallon of store water approximately every 3 and 1/2 days. With temperatures under control I think it will be more like every 4 days now. I have been using FoxFarm's big grow every other watering for about 2 weeks, currently its one teaspoon per gallon.

I could write a novel on the grow room build and a 2nd novel on everything I have done wrong. While these forums provide a great foundation for growing nothing beats hands on experience.

My biggest concerns today are;

Smell - The area in which the grow room exhausts its air smells funky to say the least. Thankfully its not living space in my house. I have ordered an Odorsok but will eventually build my own carbon filter.

Cloning - There are just SOO many ways to do this I dont know where to start. I am thinking rockwool cubes or peat disc's inside some type of propagation chamber.

Any other questions just let me know...

The plants are now roughly 12 inches, I have 28 more inches until I hit the light. I am not concerned about the plants hitting the reflector but I will LST if I have to. Having downsized to a 400W cooling is cake :)

I removed the plants from the room to install an odorsok today as well as take the measurements above. I also manged to remove yet another 6" suncourt inline fan with no impact.

Unfortunently by the time I finished the above it was dark so I couldnt get any decent photos. To top it all off the damn camera died so here is one with the flash. This one is 11 inches and lighter in color than the other two WW.

They are going into flower in roughly 4 days.

I can't believe your plants are 24 days old. Almost the same age as my plants but MUCH BIGGER! I'm kind of annoyed, looking at that picture, to be honest. But nice looking plant. I guess it has something to do with the 400W HPS... did you HPS all the way through veg? 21/3 all the way through and why 21/3?

The last picture would be 29 or 30. Its actually 600W HPS up till the first picture, I am on 400W now. I started on the HPS as seedlings from a distance. I had mad heat issues and poor soil and 5 never even sprouted. I went with 21/3 because noone can decide on 18/6 or 24. Actually I cut out the 3 hottest hours in the room, in my case it was 3-6am.

The camera is charged up a little but the plants can not come back out of the room. Here is one of the four of them together before I crash. Check out the growth on the little gal in just 5 days. They all have stories hers is a sad one. The one pictured above is in the rear right here.

The light is coming down another inch and half before I crash tonight.
