looks like they've grown real fast! what are the conditions? light and soil, etc?
Its 86 and sunny with a 5% chance of misting.
The light currently is a 400w HPS with a lumatek digital ballast and easycool 6" reflector. I am for the first time surviving without the use of the AC. Prior to yesterday there was a 600w HPS in the room. The light is on timer running a 21/3 schedule.
My soil and light were behind the death of most of my little seedlings. I transplanted the 4 to three gallon pots of PROMIX from homemade mixes gone bad and the plants are loving it. I will never use another brand of soil, despite the nearest ProMix retailer being 45 minutes away.
Each plant is getting 1 gallon of store water approximately every 3 and 1/2 days. With temperatures under control I think it will be more like every 4 days now. I have been using FoxFarm's big grow every other watering for about 2 weeks, currently its one teaspoon per gallon.
I could write a novel on the grow room build and a 2nd novel on everything I have done wrong. While these forums provide a great foundation for growing nothing beats hands on experience.
My biggest concerns today are;
Smell - The area in which the grow room exhausts its air smells funky to say the least. Thankfully its not living space in my house. I have ordered an Odorsok but will eventually build my own carbon filter.
Cloning - There are just SOO many ways to do this I dont know where to start. I am thinking rockwool cubes or peat disc's inside some type of propagation chamber.
Any other questions just let me know...
