Hi all!
I am very new and haven't posted in a while even though I've been constantly reading threads. Figure I should keep my mouth shut and eyes and ears open while I'm learning. I'm now half way through week 8 of flower and have started flushing w flawless finish. I'm supplementing co2 and have added another fan to my room to drop the temp a few degrees. I think I'm looking pretty good for the home stretch and am figuring I have 10ish days until shes ready. Been checking trichs w my loupe and they're milky but no amber. Just really wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts and especially @crimsonecho who took some time w me on my first thread and pointed out a couple things that I immediately corrected and benefited from very much. I attached a few pics. Takes all the self control I have not to bring out those shears! Lol!

Very nice!

A couple things...
You really don't need to spend money on flushing supplements. Flushing with unbalanced tap water should do fine. I'm not a fan of supplements, unless it's for some deficiency. But, it's probably not hurting, so it's up to you.

How are you injecting co2? Co2 is a very complicated process, if done correctly. Your grow space needs to be completely sealed, your temps need to be in the 90s to take advantage of it, and it's really only used for a few weeks in flower. I would say that co2 is too much work, and isn't worth the effort unless you've invested in the proper equipment. It's be much easier just to add an extra plant, or do some training to get more out of your plants.

But what you've got looks great!

Thank u so much! I was just using an exhale bag and put it in because I think my temps were originally a little too high but I have cooled it down some since. Also, my area is not tightly sealed and when I harvest I'm gonna do some work before I move my clones down. I don't have anything really top notch as far as hi tech room but it does its job. I am training my clones already now that I understand a little more about how to do it. Thank you so much for the advice!

You bet :)

The reason why adding co2 can help cannabis, is because several thousand (or even million, can't remember) years ago, the Earth was warmer and had a higher level of co2. The genes are in cannabis plants to absorb much higher levels of co2 than what's around today, so replicating that environment is like supercharging them. It also allows the plants to handle higher temps, but the higher temps are also required for the plants to be able to absorb the extra co2. My facts may be a bit foggy, but that's the general idea :)

Some people inject co2 specifically because they are unable to lower their grow room temps. But there's a lot of equipment, as well as having to fill co2 tanks. I think there are easier ways to increase yields, if that's the goal :)

Plants can benefit from CO2 at lower temps too. Just like you would be able to work better with higher oxygen levels higher CO2 makes it easier for plants to grow faster. Extra light helps them along with it too but you don't have to push it to 90.

Good to know. I haven't researched co2 in years, so my info's a bit rusty :). But they only benefit from higher levels during flower, tight? From what remember, it doesn't really do anything during veg.

Sure it does. Plants need CO2 at all stages of life to grow so if it's a little higher they can do better. Doesn't have to be 1500ppm but even 800 is double ambient and makes it easier for them.

I just use it when it's too cool to trip my exhaust fan but added another 400 and now it runs fairly often so always getting fresh air. When I flip I'll have my alcohol lamp going all the time and set my tem and humidity up to supercharge them for the stretch. During that growth spurt they can use it all!
