Lovely little plants. I wondered about algae but I florafleen if that works. Thanks for the update!

Just cut mine yesterday. Same strain gave me about 7oz on two plants last time but this one is better. Looks like about 10oz total when it dries. They wer clones. Two nice bushy LSD. I think I'll grow that in my present system when I get back. I'm going to use the posts for Sannie's Jack and Subcool's Pandora's box and the tried and true LSD in my bubbleponic res. Hoping for a male or two for breeding on the grow after that or maybe just later.
I thought it was going to be in october . so wow 2 plants got you 10 oz dried . thats great . how tall were the plants . how long did you veg and flower that . you said they were clones , do you have the mother ?

Nope don't have a mother. Had some Barney's Farm LSD fem seeds grow before this one ( 6.7 oz dried from two plants). They looked strong so I thought I'd try my hand at cloning. Right before I put the previous grow in flower, I took 2 clones from both and then took the two best clones and used them on the grow I just finished in my Stealth Hydro bubbleponics system. I slow vegged for about 7 weeks (one 6500k 105watt cfl - 5400 lumens). Kept the light close to them ( about 4" away) and in that time they grew to about a foot with much side branching (topped once and pruned every growing tip twice). Two plants covered a 3'x4' area. By that time they were in preflower even with 24/7 lighting so as soon as the previous grow was done I switched the clones to the flower room and they took off! Pack says 8 weeks to finish but this batch finished in 6 1/2 weeks (probably due to the preflowering) and I had coke can colas everywhere. Grew to 28" at finish under a 250 watt HPS. I start the fence post e&f on my next grow with the Sannie Jack and Paradox box but I'm keeping my LSD in the bubbleponics res since they like it so well. I don't sell and only give to two friends that have health problems, can't afford their medicine and need the relief that my strain provides ( my own MM set-up). This grow will help them out big time. More than enough to share at will. That's the purpose of the fence posts. To max out my production in my current grow room. I want to learn different ways and the best ways to grow for the MM community and the fence post looks like a high density opportunity to grow all I can grow when needed. When MM gets to my state, I'll be prepared to help and not screw up something. It gets too important to have screw ups at that point. That's what I want to do when I retire.

Yeah I saw that! Strange thing though is that sometimes the weird ones are the really good one. The Howard Stern of purple widow! LOL! Only goes to show you that there are traits and crosstraits in almost every strain. It's like when people have kids. Same guy, same girl and the kids look nothing alike.

Looking great! What nutes are you using? Algae problem fixed? Hopefulling in the next week or so I will start building my tubes. Have them marked for drilling and have all the parts. Building out my grow room and installing a 265cfm blower and 400 with cool tube. Two of these bad boys and my usual res next grow.

You're just using purple widow regs and not fems, right?

I am still using the 3 part liquid earth nutes vigor, grow, and bloom . and yes the algea problem is fixed..

so you did'nt make any clones from the crop you just chopped down ?

thats whats up with the your set up . you have the same amount of wattage and cfm . and I just got another one for the other carbon scrubber . I have two now .

and yes the seeds are regs and not femm

Didn't take any clones from this batch. Have plenty ahead now and I leave for a bit in early Oct for my son's cruise wedding and thought this is a good time to take a break, upgrade the grow room and build shit. Got the new strains coming next grow.

Don't realy need scrubbers since not to many people come over. I go low tech for odor control. Pinesol blue in a bucket with a fan going. I may play around with one after I get my set-up going. Just another new toy to buy/make.

Looked at those nutes you are using. Seperate micro for veg and bloom! That's interesting.

Yes we do! Was it any trouble getting it out of the fence post? My concern is whether the roots actually "fit" in the tube.

no not at that age . and I had them spread out . but when they get older and the roots get longer and there are six plants in one post they will get tangeld . when I took my last set of plants out whan they died one post was fine ( not even taneld ) but the other one was , all of them.

that one plant showed its nuts real early with the light on 24/0 . must be the stress . but hey you win some you lose some . I also just toped the other two plants again . each plant in four spots . now each plant will have 8 heads

Wow, showing nuts on 24/0. I've taken males out before. It just a little messy and could just drain my res and sort of wash out the dead/dying male roots with a gallonof water. This may be harder but I guess I'll see. Still doable. I do know that you can cut 1/2 the roots off the plants and they hardly even notice.

just dont touch the tap (main ) root or just cut the roots of the plant you're getting rid of

I've also seen people cut the male to the base. leave the male in and pick off most of the new growth. I usually just cut and pull about 4" off the remaining females roots with no problems other than an extra flush. Thinking e&f would do that anyway but you would have to watch the res for dead roots which affect ph big time. Either way I see this as only a minor problem that I can easily overcome.

Larger plants are often males. They develop earlier to be around when the girls are ready. Kind of like showing up early at the club in case any hot chickees show up! LOL! I expect half of the reg seeds I plant to be males. I'll actually want some when I start growing next time as I plan to breed a bit for seeds. Figured when they show the nuts I'd pull them and stick them in some perlite in the basement bathroom and keep them alive long enough to give me pollen and then they die!

well here are some new pics and you can see nuts . but I can also see what might be pistols , which means it's a possilbe hermi. and on the other one I see little pistols also but no nuts . that is wierd couse they are still on 24/0 light . the possible hermi will be kept if it is a hermi .and tosed out if it's a dude . the possible hermi as you can see in the pic got super cropped a little to alow mor light to the bottom . and I think I did it right . tell me if it is good

Wow 24/0 and showing males! I remove every male when I see it if I don't want to breed. I'd get the male out asap. If it's a hermie it's not much better and you will have to pull the balls off for the rest of the grow or you'll have some seeds of a plant that tends to hermie. Moral of the story is if it has balls I kill it dead.

Started building my fence post e&f today and I'm almost done. Have all the 3" holes drilled and just have to flip it over and drill and install the e&f fixtures and glue on the end caps. I'll give it a few days to dry and then test it for leaks. Planning the work in great detail made it a lot easier then I originally thought. Just a matter of getting the right tools for the job. Thanks for the encouragement!
