The one in hydroguard(#1) is not getting worse but not better either. Not much at least.

The sterile project(#2) is looking alot worse. At this point I'm so clueless how do approach the symptoms I kinda gave up on it. Foam/bio-film is noticeable more present in the water.

Since the one with the Good bennies (Hydrogaurd) is looking better. So that means you should add more beneficial bacterias in order to out compete those bad ones. Your sterile bucket will stay good for about a day or so but the film will come back. Thats why the tea is so beneficial. I would brew some 6237FC12-EDD6-4506-9F68-92B59AB36BAE.jpegCEAE4F07-EEF8-4411-9084-C04C49DB6652.jpegEven if you dont have all the items I still will at the very least 11/2 cup compost Earthworm castings, Hydrogaurd 10mil, 10 mil molasses. Your roots are going to look dark because of the compost but in a week there will be new whites coming out.

* Note I didnt add molasses directly to my res. I added to the tea so that it can feed the microbes science stuff.

Sure why not throwing in some myco bennies for soil as well, nothing to lose. I'll try to find EWC, and grab some molasses at the store. Do u guys use powder or "fluid" molasses?

If u added it to the tea, did u also let it sit for a while to increase the bennie ammounts? Will this work with hydroguard?

Also, I have to wait for waterchange before I add it. The pool shock in res will kill it straight up if not, right?

I use Hydrogaurd and liquid molasses then let brew for 48hrs for best use. you cant use both. Its either bennies or sterile.

Hold on, is it possible to brew the tea from vermicompost? Thought u needed concentrated worm castings?
Cause I did find vermicompost! :D

Vermicompost tea is simply compost tea with worm castings. It is brewed using vermicompost(also called worm castings or worm poop) as your compost instead of compost from a hot compost pile. Using your vermicompost or vermicast to make worm compost tea is a great use of your nutrient rich worm castings.
