First grow (indoors) - sunlight question

Greetings - I'm doing a closet grow in an apartment. I have 9 little White Rhino seedlings that are 10 days old. I have a balcony (no stealth issues) that gets at leat 5 hours of direct sun. After they get some more growth, wouldn't it be ok to take them out every morning and bring 'em back in at the end of day? I understand they should be acclimated. It just seems to me that sunlight would be the best. I'm in SoCal and the temps are mild. I'm kind of retired, so I can keep on top of my plants. Thanks for all the help so far!

If stealth is no issue, by all means give them as much real sunlight as possible.Just keep them outside and do it naturally, may not be as fast but much bigger, healthier, and tastier plants. Can't beat mother nature.

yeah sunlight is the best light. remember though not to burn them in the sun. introduce them to the morning sun and if necessary put them back under your artificial lights if you notice extreme drooping from the intense sun. and since you have time on your hands make sure to check up on them say after ten and it starts to get a little hotter. after a day or two of that you should feel confident in knowing they are ok. it also depends on the lumens using in your closet. the plants get sunburned from not having enough light penetration in an artificial environment to getting burned from the drastic change in lumens from the sun. hope this helps
