:leaf: it's been a while so i guess it's time for a little update. Been very lazy lately :bigjoint:

The churches mostly have nice big colas now, really starting to pack out. Except one which is quite frankly a monstrosity. It got all the sativa genes and the buds couldn't be any airier if they tried. Its about 8ft tall too and doesn't seem to be slowing in growth! I had to bunch all the branches together to stop it taking over the whole room. Seriously, if you get a pheno like this, just get rid of it. Might be lucky to get a spliffs worth off it!

The Trainwrecks are coming along a bit slower still than the others but nice tight buds and lots of em too! Not as many trichs as the ices yet but not far behind

The Alaskan ices are doing really really well, they're gonna finish earlier than the others i think. Nice big buds, no central cola as such, just big, tight buds everywhere over a short but even canopy. I'll be looking to clone these more than the others. perfect SOG strain

Of the second batch that went in to flower, all's going well. much smaller plants cos i think we only vegged em for about 2 or 3 weeks.

2 thai SS went male a few weeks back so they got chucked.
the other female thai are very sativa, dunno if its gonna be worth keeping these indoors, might put em out before they end up like the church triffid!

Babies are all looking healthy, the cheeses and the mama mias. Also got the himalayan gold but just the 1 cos the other had germing problems, plus the others that i forget - freebies mainly from attitude.

Temps/ humidity etc still constant (24c/50rh) gonna drop that rh later with the dehumidifier

Nutes have been added pretty much every water apart from one big flush- been using them quite heavily but no problems from doing so. Used about 20ml/l of bloom, 2ml/l grow and between 5 and 10ml/l of boost. I know the grows not recommended in flowering but it seems to be helping keep the leaves healthy and healthy leaves= healthy buds

Some pics but they're from 5 days ago, i'll get some new ones later maybe. :leaf:

Oh that last pics a red dragon, i just wanted to point out the leathery looking top leaves, dunno if this is normal or a deficiency of some kind?

Just wondering but I am setting up at 8ftx8ftx8ft room with 2x 1000 watters and i was wondering what type a fan you have to exhaust and cool your lights and room. Thanks and also when r u planning on harvesting? I'd be really curious to know what ur yield is when you harvest, as i will have a similar set up and hope to have similar results. Thanks again and happy smoking :joint:

It's an inline fan, not sure of the specs, i'll check next time i'm there. I know it takes a 6 inch duct though. The lights are those pro+ 600watters with built-in ballasts which don't really kick out too much heat but for 2x 1000w lights i'd either use cool tubes or maybe have 2 exhausts running. What strains you growing? I'm expecting about 2oz off each plant (hopefully) and will be harvesting 15 plants although this might be staggered over a couple of weeks depending on whether they're ready or not

Thanks for your reply. I think he's gonna get two 8" cool tubes for the lights with an 8" Inline fan with Carbon Filter. The fan moves around 560 cfm so hopefully that should be enough to suck out hot air off the lights and also be enough to pull odor through the filter and eliminate odor from the room, and also be enough to cool the room. What do you think? He will have an oscillating fan in there also and may add a 6 inch 300 cfm inline to the bottom of the room for intake.

As for the strains, just placed an order for 10 Fem. Blue Cheese, 10 Fem. NLxSkunk, and 10 Fem. Himalayan Gold. Probably thinking about 15 under each light maybe less. He's going for maximum yield so he doesnt know whether or not to have fewer big plants or more smaller plants to maximize yield in his 8ftx8ftx8ft closet the flowering room will be in.

good choices on the strains, i forgot to check the fan but i'll try n remember tomorrow. By the sounds of it, you've done you're research and those fans should be plenty to handle your setup, especially with the cool tubes. They're on my list for my next big grow :)

noticed a bit of nute burn on a few trainwrecks earlier so flushed thoroughly and hopefully that'll be the end of that problem
