I have plenty of height in my current cabinet enough for it to grow another foot. I can always move it to another location. I guess my main concern is not having to buy more lights. I want to grow a plant nicely given the amount of light I have. I was thinking that starting 12/12 earlier may be a feasible option. I also went with the lights off for 12 hours accidentally a couple times this week and I didn't know if that messed with the plant at all.

Yea you could switch now I guess, but if you top it you could spread that plant out over a wider surface and still get the same amount of light to all the leaves.

You could top it now if you only cut the highest tip, but you couldnt salvage a clone from that cutting. If you wait another week or two you'll have a cutting that can be cloned.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I will grow it another week or two so I will be able to clone my cutting then I will run another week before going 12/12 so my plant can adjust to topping. Thanks for the advice!

That sure is a nice looking seedling, I hope she is a she and I hope the clone keeps the same 3 leaf formation. Thats not a common trait the 3 leaf thing, its a random mutation, but pretty nifty

Yeah I am happy and surprised with it. I am thinking this may be a seed from a crossing done by one of the growers for a local dispensary. I have no proof to back that statement up but it is fun to think about its origins.

I think the hps's are the 75 watts,dont hold me to it but thats roughly the wattage,I know for a fact lowes has them like 100% sure. Im runnin a 150mh that came from there and it wasnt expensive at all.easy to find bulbs to.i use the 15mh in my small veg and I just clone under 2 42w cfl.there plenty for the job so far.
And im almost 100% sure i was looking at low wattage hps's and mh's at walmart one day,there just "flooddlights" but you can pull the bulb out of the ballast and extend the wire and run the bulb wherever you need it and leave the ballast in a cool area out of the way.Thats what I did.Lowes and Home depot have them 100% forsure though cause my buddy got his there and Like I said they put in work for what they are!!!

At 2.5 inches, still no vertical growth. It is 5.5 inches wide and starting its 5th node.

I still don't think its pure Kali Mist, those leaves are just wayyy too fat.
But that's not a bad thing, you may get a much bigger yield as a result of the indica genetics. Then again Kali Mist's genetics are shrouded in mistery and controversy, I personally suspect the 90% sativa genetics as advertized may be a lie(maybe it was 90% originally back in '94). I think as long as its a female then your looking at a really nice plant here.

Please try to get a clone for me!

Another strain in the room coulda hermed and hit it a little or a male coulda let loose just a little bit or even in the next room or outside.Wouldnt surprise me if it was a actual cross though.Someone trying to beef up the original Kalimist for better commercial use.The world may never know lol! Also I dont know much about the KaliMist but I know alot of other strong sativa dom strains are worse for hermying do to genetics,But I know thats mostly found in landrace genetics to. I wouldnt worry to much about herms though,even if it does spit nanners out just try to keep up with plucking them off and even if you do get a few seeds from it,it wont kill you! I have accidently destroyed my whole room before by a somewhat auto'ing male I had in veg hidden in the back popped loose one day and fucked me all up, Had alot of crosses to play with from it though aswell as learning to watch your males closer. I had everything X MasterKush lol
