First Grow - Many Problems

Hey everyone, newbie here.
I just got my babies a few days ago and I seem to be having some of problems.
First and foremost, they were delayed by 3 days (not fed/watered and just put into a semi dark room); when I received half the leaves were dried out and dead and the other half yellowish. I quickly put them inside my tents on a 20/4 and started feeding them week 5 from the fox farm schedule. I tried bending some branches slightly, none seem to be dried out.

The strains are gorilla glue #4 (10), Skywalker OG (9), Blue Dream (1).
Not only was it delayed, but they got mixed up and I can't tell which plant is which strain.

So here are my problems/questions I hope you guys can help!

1) What strain is which?
2) Slight smell going to room
3) Humidity condensation on the cooling vent drips down (lucky enough didn't hit any circuits)
4) Diagnosing which has what deficiency
5) Do I need to cut the bad leaves and empty branches?
6) I want to transplant them into 3 gal smart-pots, should I wait a few days?
7) Are they in shock?

Any other advice you can give please

Thank you

I'm thinking I should transplant before I start to flower and switch to 12/12.
Maybe veg for 2 weeks, wait until plants become more healthy then flower?

Hard to see anything with the LED on. I'd cut the them way back, and let them get healthy before anything. Top growth doesn't look healthy and they look pretty stretched. Not 100% sure but 3 day of darkness may have triggered flowering and they will need to revert first. As soon as you have a fresh healthy shoot, i'd take clones too.

Hi, thanks for the response.
I was thinking that a possibility. Is there a way to revert back to vegging? I think I read somewhere 24 hours of night time resets them, but I fear the plants are too weak to even consider that.

I will try taking better photos in daylight

If you are interested in reveging
Go ahead and trim them back.

A rule of thumb is after harvest I remove everything except about the bottom 10%.

Put them back on a veg lighting schedule 24/0 or 18/6and resume a veg feed schedule. Very light

They will appear to stop doing much for a good while. Eventually you will notice some very twisted leafs.

That is a sign you are having success.
You will notice it starts putting out leafs again. The number of fingers on the leafs will increase.
As in 3 5 7 etc.

When this happens you have done it.

Slow process

Trim as in cut all the leaves and branches? Seems a tad bit complicated (I just started lol) I guess if its flowering just let it flower? My question though is when it starts, since I don't know for sure, will 20/4 light damage or confuse them?

Never heard of 20/4 but it will veg with that schedule.
Most people veg with 18/6 or 24/0

When you want it to flower switch to
12/12.

Don't start flower until the plants are healthy and green.

Here is what you should do.
Turn off that purple light and take several pics of the plants so we can actually see them.
Then people will give advice.

Also proof read your shit
It reads like son of Sam's letters. Lol

Above all do not keep switching between flower and veg light schedules.
Get them healthy, train them then flower them

Good night

Yeah, you'll have a mess if you try to go to flower at this point. Personally, I'd clone them and basically start over. Perhaps keep the originals as mother plants.

I have seeds coming in I'm going to mother those. God knows where these clones came from and whether or not they are the strains they claimed. I wanted to keep these until the seeds sprouted.

what's your temperature swing between lights on and off in the tent and outside of it, and what's your rh during these times?.. once you know you'll be able to get control of your condensation building up on shit..
@charface is leading you straight and I'm sure you would get more replies if you took a few clearer and closer pics of your plants.. (with lights off)
do lots of research , take time to read the stickies/pinned threads at the top of the forum list ,lots of helpful stuff there for seasoned growers and noobs..

  • oh yeah.. don't do shit with the plants far as transplanting goes. but yes you can clean the dead shit out. you don't want rotting leaves on your soil.. (may cause future problems).

20C when lights off, 23-24C when on.
Whats rh? Humidity?
The vents don't seem to be wet anymore:clap: The hot air was being blown out just outside the tent, I redirected it outside the window; maybe that could have been the cause.

Here's a more clear picture of one. The color seems to be getting back, but is she now getting nutrition burn?:wall:

pH @ 6.5

I gave her FoxFarm 5th week feeding (using all the bottles)

yes.. rh.. = relative humidity .
20C when lights off, 23-24C when on.

this plant in this pick is almost a lost cause... can I ask what soil your using? looks like lock out.. purple stem very yellow leaves .. did they(the leaves) yellow from the edges inward or from the center outward? it doesn't really look burned to me, they look deficient .. I used mirical gro organic blend a few years back and they looked just like your plants.. it's funny because regular mirical gro soil didn't bother them , just the organic blend..
what size pots are you using? be sure to p.h.your water between feedings.. in fact, take your two shittiest plants and let the soil dry abit and then flush the hell out of them a couple times and then start feeding them again at quarter strength nutes. flushing removes most of the salt build up in the soil from nutrients .. and one more question.. are you using city or well water.. ? or bottled water?.. water quality can be a problem for plants..

p.s.. do some reading..

I'm not being a dick here .. you just have to elaborate more on your grow.. with out certain details like brand or type of soil , water quality and so forth it's hard to give specific answers ... I'm not familiar with Fox farm nutes so saying youre using week five from the schedule isn't much help.. measurements are needed..

I agree with the above and have a suggestion.

I would buy an all in one veg food
And an all in one flower food.

Once you make it through a grow or two fancy things up as much as you like.

IMO. #6 should you transplant to 3 gallon pots?
I would say yes, that may help resolve some of your problems if you are in 1 gallon pots and the new soil will not need nutrients for the next 4 weeks if it is fox farm ocean forest.
Good Luck!

Yeah they are pretty wrecked ... I think give up the ghost on these and start over.
There is more going on with them than 3 days of darkness , they were severely locked out , lanky , and defol to hell.

Maybe save a cutting but overall they do need some help.

Note : leaves will not recover ( dead spots , yellow , etc. ) they are deficient in nitrogen , phosphorus , etc. . They will respond to light however they are in a weakend state. Try top dressing some good planter mix on top of soil , if dry ... water that in. Ph 6.5 ( No RO water or unicorn piss just ph water ( tap ) . You must be sure of ph so all nutrients are available for uptake. Then watch them for a few days to see if they will come around.
Do nothing else. No other shit added , just a basic feed.

Good luck.
