First Grow, Medical Grow - Aurora Indica

Got a few new things going on in the garden. All 9 of the clones I took have taken, now I have too many plants. Will cull them and take new ones in a week or so, everything else in that garden is going pretty well.

Moved a couple of more plants into the tent, upgraded my 2x2 tray to a 3x3 and now have 6 plants going in there, 2 shoud be ready in about 30 days or so and each is about 1 week behind the other after that.

Also, I purchased some medical bud from one of the dispensaries and the bag of Grape Krush (it was ok, not great) had two seeds in it and they both cracked. Groovy.

Been a while since an update, not a whole lot to report as I'm in kind of a holding period as they grow.

Sexed out the other one of my Kush, it was male and was put down. Gave me a chance to see the root mass of an established plant, groovy.

My 'big 3' are flowering well but at different paces. Two of them should be ready in about 2-3 weeks, the other a couple of weeks behind that.

I have slowly moved plants into the box as to create a rotation of a plant being done every 2 weeks or so, we'll see how that pans out.

Pics: The Vegetarians; 3 Aurora plants, 2 Aurora clones, 1 Kush plant (To be sexed), 2 Kush clones. Some new Mango clones, my bagseed plant (To be sexed), Grape Krush seedling and for grins, another catnip.

Thanx for the reply bro. Your shit looks nice and green and hairy as fuck. Just curios where I live I cant get clones at all how much does someone pay for one at a dispensary, and can u get fem seeds at one.

Where I live, they don't have dispensaries just 'Producers', which are non-profits the state approves to grow. The only one I've patronized does bud only, no clones/seeds. Attitude has good seeds and reliable delivery.

Been a while since I updated, finished off my Chemo treatments so I've hard only enough time/energy to garden, so fucking glad it's over and I can enjoy my garden fully!

Doing ok, my 'Big 3' are heading into their final stretch, After 7 weeks of flowering 2 of them look nearly finished where another looks to be several more weeks, I guess it's the amount of Sativa in the different plants.

I upgraded my 400w HPS to a 600W Hortilux Enhanced HPS, lots more lumens and added blue spectrum, should yield better buds and tighter/stronger plants.

Been doing some cloning and moving plants quickly into my tent, have 8 in there right now of various stages. Looks like when things smooth out, I'll be pulling a plant out of the tent every 2 weeks or so.

Great grow... how tall are those plants? Are you @ full strength nutes in the Veg room?

The first 3 were short when I started flowering, about 10-12" and they came out to 3 feet. The latest ones are coming in at about 4, with one stretching out to a lanky 5'


Yep, I use full strength + sweet by botanicare in the veggie planter.

Hey man...nice plants...love the tall bitch...i too have one of those ones that just took off in flowering, she was maybe 18-20" tall and now she is over 4'. Here's a pic of her at week 2 of flowering.

Nice grow man, I'm also doing an aurora indica grow, and I must say, it's very unstable. 3 of my plants are fairly short, but 2 of they are starting to stretch alot more, showing sativa qualities.

Looks very nice! Aurora Indica Is so far the best weed I've ever smoked in my life! I will never do a grow with out having at least one Auroora Indica plant in the mix! Nice job dude! Good luck!

Thanks guys, been a bit since an update. First, my chemo is over! Been off for just over 2 weeks and life is tasting much better. My meds are getting me high again and that's a very good thing!
Ok, made a bunch of changes. Culled the Kush from the garden, I was not in position with room/grow skill to attempt LST on the plant, the light just wasn't getting below the cola, too thick.

The Aurora's are just right, nice cola and decent branch nuggets. Since getting the 600w lamp, the tent's been a bit hotter but the coverage and penetration has been great, one of my plants at 5 weeks flowering is looking very thick with trics!

I pulled two of my first three plants at 56 days flowering, while the trics were mostly cloudy/clear, the red hair coverage was great. Since these plants were vegged at 10" and just under 4 weeks, the yield wasn't very good. Looks to be just over a zip from the both of them dry. The buds are still drying but I pulled a couple of crispy ones and I was surprised by the taste and strength, not too grassy and more of the Aurora Lemon/Pine. Going to clip them and put them into jars for about a week, I got a decent supply of meds I've gotten on the side

I'm now flowering a clone of one of my orginals and that plant gave me two clones, so I'm on my 3rd generation of plants in less than 90 days. Not bad. Here's a few pics, will probably close this thread when I pull the last of my first three. He's slower and looks to have couple/three weeks left, but wow he's going to yield pretty decent for a first grow, regular style plant.

Those buds are hairs balls wow lol lookin good bro.

Here's what I got going on now:

Big plant, flowering for 61 days. Side branch looks like an arm, should be finished in 2-3 weeks tops, going to be my best yield.

Couple of relatively new plants flowering, vegged very nicely and will be tall and budly.

One plant going very well at just over 5 weeks flowering, one hell of a top on her.

Several new Aurora's in the veggie garden waiting their turn. Looks like what I've got going is a plant coming out every 2-3 weeks. I got some issues with flushing but I'm working on it, perpetual grow doesn't lend itself to flushing out the entire system for the last week or two.

Sweet setup Anonymouse! On the topic of flushing - you are using hydrotone, so could you transfer the girls to their own 5-gallon bucket DWC rig for the flush? Just a thought from a n00b, so take it for what it's worth.

OK, chopped down the last of my first three. Going to close this thread up, this 'newbie' grow is done. From the last plant, I got 45 grams dry, not great but certainly not bad and the smoke is very nice compared to my first two, that were picked a tad early.


Going to start some new clones and get some netpots and I am going to attempt to LST two plants in an effort to get 4-5 main colas, we'll see how it goes.
