Calyxes on the plant(s) will swell, that's a sign of maturity... pistils will often change colors, as well as recede into the calyx... milky over amber for THC, amber over milky for CBN... dont wait until they're all the color you want, as it'll continue even when cut.

Not ready yet IMO. You're trichs are still white not milky/amber. When you take a picture and the plant has a brown twinge to it it's ready. Prune those dead fan leaves and let it go.

Great looking plant though!

Thanks man yea the fan leaves are all gone now not much other than sugar leaves an bud left them pics are a week old ill try get new pic rite now :)

Ive started the flushing stage only bein gettin water the last week is that ok keep it up for another week or do I need longer

Huh? The *only* way to tell if trichomes are a certain colour is with a loupe or a scope. You can't tell this by eye or a photograph.

reddevil, the best thing to do is go to a jeweller's store and pick up a cheap loupe. Then search for how to check trichomes for best harvest time.

I may be totally off base here so please correct me if I am wrong because this is the information I have used to harvest my plants for 2+ years. Trichomes may have been a bad choice of words. However, if you look at a plant that is not ready (first picture) the hairs, sugar leaves, etc. all look white/clear/reflective. If you look at a plant that is ready it looks brownish/reddish all over (second picture). The first part of this guide illustrates what I am talking about http://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest. The second part of this guide shows how to use a magnification device to view trichomes close up to see exactly what they looked like. I had thought that the visual method in the first part of the guide was acceptable.
