thx this my first grow also i got 3 out of 5 females. i vegged for the first 2 weeks under cfls then purchased my 400 watt mh/hps cooltube lights and ever since i put those in they did good.i vegged for a month and 2 weeks about. here is a pic of all 3 of them and side views so you can see the heights.View attachment 3149444View attachment 3149445 View attachment 3149446
Hell yea bro i like the size of them,I know most people prefer shorter bushy plants but I grew up watching all my older friends growing 7 foot Christmas tree plants outside.I really need to get my grow box in better order considering the size of it i have the room to throw in two 400 watt hps.I read that the 400 watt systems are the most efficient in terms of lumens per watt,(might be the 600 watt tho, dont remember forsure)

This is my cabinet 57" tall 22" deep 39" wide

I vegged for 31 days but I only had 35 watts from two t8s so I think that might have had a little bit to do with the size.right now each top is working on three sets of nodes so im actually seeing pretty good growth with the cfls

Thats whats up man,I haven't read up much on sugar leaves tho, dont they usually only start being produced during flowering?

yes they are the leaves that grow from the buds.and are covered in trichs
I thought thats what it was.quick question,I know an abundance of nitrogen delays flowering, but does it completely halt the flowering process? Or does it just make it take longer time than average?

well a abundance may sow it down. cuz i know plannts still use small amounts during flowering. helps to keep em green

Once you get the hang of it you won't have to waste time flowering them out to see male from female. They usually show sexy around 4-6 weeks in veg.

Plants doing good looking really healthy despite a little discoloration on the bottem set of nodes.her leaves are angled up towards the lights as opposed to last week where she was looking droopy, tho I think the cause of that was shock from two of my smaller cfls burned some fingers on the leaves.node spacing is pretty tight.Quick question, since this thread has already been answered do I need to close it?
