First grow, need help

So recently, with the knowledge contained on this website, I began my own garden outdoors in an area that can't be traced back to me, impossible for other people to reach, etc.. It's been six days into my grow, and I had three beautiful Master Kush seedlings poking their leaves out of the dirt.
So, later that night I went to check to see if the plant needed water, and I found two of the seedlings missing, and the third bitten to the point where I could only see roots on top of the fertilizer.
In conclusion, I've come up with the theory that something has consumed my plants, but I'm not sure how to keep something like this from happening again. I live in an area with a lot of rabbits, which are all small enough to slip through chicken wire.
If anyone would be so kind, could they please lend a new grower a hand in figuring out a way to protect my beautiful plants?

The best way to avoid that would be to grow indoors. But if you cant you can try using sum sort of tall chicken wire type mesh and put it around your plant and make sure it goes a few inches into the ground to keep critters from digging under it.

I have chicken wire surrounding my plants, but the baby rabbits are so small they can dart through. They're the only creature around here that I think can still reach them.

You can go to your local hardware or gardening store and they will have some kind of spray you can get in a bottle... It will keep deer and rabbits and such away and you only need to apply it once every one or two weeks

You can spread hair around your plants. I wouldn't use your own though.LOL..Maybe hair from a dog.:?

hahahaha.

I suggest the spray, though. Or pissing around the perimeter of your plant. But I'd prefer the spray if I had a wildlife problem. You could try using different chicken wire or taller or whatever, but I'd say just use the spray, man :eyesmoke:

I've actually gone a bit overboard and have now done the three suggestions I picked up from this. I took a nice morning piss right around the plants, followed by overlapping the chickenwire(which I hadn't thought of before) causing it to have ~half the open space, and then I went to the store and bought some sort of spray that's supposed to keep animal life away. I appreciate all of the help in protecting these beautiful plants.
