first grow need help

I am germnating a bagseed at the moment it is just beggining to split open after 50 hours i have it in the paper towel.To start this plant off i am using a little clear plastic container filled with soil i grabed from outside garden which was not heavily fertilized or anything.Will this outside soil work to start off my plant i plan on buying a fresh bag of soil when my plant gets big enough to move to a real flower pot so will i be okay to start this grow with the soil i got from outside garden.

yea it should be fine for about 1-2 week in plastic cup of soil the ready for a big pot

i'd avoid using a clear container, roots don't like light

Good soil, good light, good air and good feed = good plant (harvest)

Great soil, great light, great air and great feed = great plant (harvest)

Crap soil, crap... well ya get the idea

Put a little effort and time into this and you WILL be rewarded. And fully stoked!

I put a seed in shit soil and it almost died....was too much like clay when I watered it...get some good soil it will pay off!
