  1. Strain: Jean Guy photo
  2. Age: 7 days past cotyledons
  3. Medium: Coco, buffered w/calmag (per Dr. Coco's instructions)
  4. Humidity 75%-80% stable
  5. Temp: 23-24C stable
  6. Light: Migro 100, 9.8k LUX measured at top of plant
Been fertigating daily once per day, about 60ml. Gradually, raising the EC from 300 to 500. Nute blend contains Calmag, the Advanced Nutrients trio + Voodoo Juice.

Questions I had:

* Seedling seems leggy to me, but the 10k LUX was what was recommended on https://www.cocoforcannabis.com.

* Leaves used to point straight up, but the edges of the leaves aren't straight anymore - should I worry? I thought it was perhaps a Calmag deficiency, so I prepared a foliar spray mixed at 800 EC.

Color looks ok? Never done this before.

Thanks for your tips in advance! Paranoid new parent!

Cover up your pot with something opaque....roots don't like the light. More importantly, your plant is too small for a Ca and / or a Mg shortage. If there are issues at this stage, and in your case there are no issues that I can see, the issues are generally a result of pH. Don't foliar spray...just relax and let her grow. Good luck.

Looks like its trying to stretch as well. Cannas right. Nothing to be worried of. I'd drop nutes for a week and see how it goes. Especially the foliage spray. I quit spraying mine weeks ago and ive had min problems.

Yeah the stretch is a tougher one. It's currently at 10 LUX at the canopy -- should I be cranking that higher? The MIGRO 100 instructions said to put the light 35cm away with a 1/5th turn. That netted like 6k LUX, which was lower than most recommendations I had read, so I dialed it up a bit.

I don't know anything about that light. Got a link?
You'd benefit lowering that light probably. If it lets out alot of heat just put your hand right above your canopy. Too hot for your hand, too hot for the plant.

I have a sf1000 and a blurp 235w led in my 2.5x2.5x6 tent. I keep them about 12 to 16 inches away. Hardly any temp rises and the plants love it.

Lux isn't something you neccesarily measure with growing plants.ppfd/par is what you want to be looking for. Ive heard you can convert lux to par with some multiplication.(not sure how accurate that is). It's a 100w light that probably don't produce much heat at all especially with ventilation. Try bringing that bad boy down 2 more inches and again put your hand right above the top of the canopy. Too hot for your hand its too hot for the plants. Experiment a little. The plant will let you know if its too high or too low. GL

Wanted to say thanks for the tip. 2 inches down, and the plant really grew a ton overnight. What a difference.
