First grow, Northern Lights preperation. Help please

Right so i have ordered all the stuff a 125w blue 64000k bulb and hanger and a female northern light seed from pick n mix.

i have also bought some activated aqua carbon from my local garden center that sell fish and supplies.

and i also bought some pots and organic compost.

All i need is that reflective foil blanket stuff you can get to reflect sun out of car windows.

but anyway i need some help

Right so i know you get the seed and put it in wet kitchen paper until it spouts.

then you have a little tail on it.

what i need to know is which way up do you point this tail ? pointing out of the soil ? or pointing down into the soil ?

also how much do i water her in her first week ?

and then how much water and how often after ?

also what light cycle do northern lights need ?

and how can i keep the plant short but get alot of bud

this is all i need to know really

i hope some people can help me by answering my questions.

18/6 or 24 hours for veg...and 12/12 for flowering.

No. It must be 18/6 for veg (or 24/0 for veg, but that isnt as good), and 12/12 for flowering.

Splitting the light cycles into a "twice daily" dark time will not yield you anything to actually smoke.
