Here is an update on the Oak, she is about 20 days into flowering now. I am going to throw up all my pics even with the leaves I was talking about. However, I am going to also put up some pics of the leaves in the plant problems section, thanks for the advice again chief!

i got that same thing on my leaf as you do in pic 13
i wouldnt worry too much about it i think mine came from touching the cfl or something because its only on the leaves closest to the light. heres a pic hope u dont mind

that a boy!!!! more lights-more lights-more lights

i honestly am clueless as to the problem- dont want to go saying its a deficiency- when its possibly a nute burn- would def throw up some of these pics in the plant problem area, get some more people looking at them, as of right now i wouldn't stress it, just keep flowing the love, next round of feeding though i would back off a tad and see if it gets worse or better-possibly even hold off on feeding for a week and do the same- see if it gets better or worse..

can't stress enough though more bulbs!!!!!!! as close as possible!!!!!(without burning of course)

all in all they are looking really good man, that cfl you vegged with kept the spacing really tight, if you get enough wattage/lums/love on those branches they will be SOLID nugs all the way down as deep as the light can penetrate which if you have the side lighting and underneath lighting she is gonna produce beyond belief- im still thinking she can pull 1.4-1.5....

looking good man looking good...

and the reason i say more lighting is just think about the next grow- you'll have all these bulbs and fixtures ready to go and can spend your budget on nutes/mylar/ph meter etc etc...

gotta spend some time with the old lady before she crashes (she hates this forum-lol)

ill check back in after she crashes, see if i can figure out what the problem is.

have they gotten any worse? how often are you watering? do you let the soil dry out 100% before watering? did you transplant at all in-between veg and flowering?

sorry its been a few days- but im back

Well, they haven't gotten any worse. I am beginning to think it was creating hot spots or something because the clamp reflectors were too close. So I removed the reflectors and am just using the y splitters. I did transplant about 1 week or so before switching to 12/12 into the larger 5 gallon. 3 days ago I ended up sticking a chopstick in the soil and trying to bring up the lower soil and aerate it a little bit, because the top 2 inches were dry, but it was definetely still moist lower. I was going 1 week between waterings. I just watered her again today.

I am starting to question how big my buds will get, I feel like they haven't gotten too much bigger even though they are getting more frosty for sure. I am not sure how much they end up growing. I guess I am just starting to question everything since its my first time.

So what can I expect to see in the next few weeks? What should I be looking out for in terms of new changes or development of buds, etc...

B_U_M_P BUMP.

hows it going bud? any new spotting?

just went into the local HD today and to my surprise found 4-packs of the 23w 2700k for 1.97$ not sure if this deal is just in my area or at all of them so you may want to check it out, picked up 5 packs so i got 20 of those bulbs and saw the monster 68w 2700k for 15$ soo i picked up 2 of those. gonna figure out how to re-work the room and hopefully be making the switch in the next day or two-decided against lst and topping cause im racing the warm weather and want to flower as quickly as possible.....

anyway itching for an update, any more bulbs going in there? any noticeable increase in size, either way im sure the ff has them gals looking oh so frosty

the budsites at the nodes will start to grow and spit out more hairs eventually connecting up and forming a bud ..during week four or five is usually when they connect up (depending on strain of course). then they will start toget fatter in weeks 6-whatever

heres a pic of my Blueberry headband at day 20 of flowering (notice the 3 bud sites at the nodes

now here is that same bud at day 24 look at the top two how they connected and the lower one will soon follow

Hope this helps a little

I think it might have something to do with too much intense direct light and soil wetness issues. Thanks for the link. I have been thinking lately that the bottom of my soil is staying wet even though I have made sure to not water too much, usually just about once a week. She is in a 5 gallon pot and I am starting to think maybe its too big and her roots don't go down that far. I just figured I should go as big as possible to prevent rootbounding and to let her get as big as she wants. Do the roots continue growing even at this stage of flowering? It hasn't really gotten any worse, its still just those same leaves.
