Haha, dude I just clicked the link and that's the article I have been reading for the past couple hours. I'm honestly not sure what it is, I thought it could be N, calcium, magnesium, etc.

what have you been feeding her? i picked up some bone meal, made a tea of sorts and it helped out, at least i think so..... how many days in are you? and wheres the pics broseph??

and you may possibly have all those dif, id advise some strong feedings (calculted of course, find some foods that are specific to your needs and drench the gal).. id say the nutes are all but sucked out of the soil..

i dont think it's a case of over watering (unless you do) so the next step would be finding out what nutrients she needs, have you added any bloom nutrients? she's seriously lacking in that department.

best bet is pulling a leaf and going to the problem thread and just going problem by problem and checking your leaves..

how many days into flowering are you? what have you fed her thus far?

Looking like you just have nutrient burning. Once it gets to a certain point it turns the leafs brown from what I have read on these articles and stuff. Your making me want to get a big nice 125w myself for my grow I'm currently just using x2 85 watt (350 watt equiv) CFL's and my ladies are turning out pretty good. Also I used nirvana flowering tablets so I didn't have to worry about using nutrients myself. The tablets dissolve automatically when your plants need nutrients. Check into them for your next grow if nutrient burn was really the problem here. Overall those cola's are looking very nice next time im going to grow something taller. + rep + sub

i didnt even think about that mg shit burning up your gals, next go round should probably just add in 1 nute at a time, figure you veg for a month or more in a container with your ff/ no need for extra food unless your girl calls for it, same thing with the transplant, you have fresh """"""""hot"""""""" soil that will probably do your ladies good for another solid month.

so heres the deal, next clone, use your ff soil, no nutes during veg, no nutes after transplant like 3/4 weeks into flowering hit them off with some big bloom(ff of course) i was just in my local shop the other day and dude was talking about how 8 years ago there was no tiger bloom yadayada yada anyway long story short, he basically talked me out of tiger bloom (showing he was not a scumbag sales guy) and told me the big bloom is great, damn near impossible to burn up the girls with, only thing is it's gonna need is some additives for nitrogen... possible cal/mag and some cheapo molasses... anway he also suggested an alternative to cha-ching for resin production that was much cheaper, of course i forgot what it is, so i'll get back to you....

less is more bud, less is more and when you start getting comfy you can start adding stuff along the way..

i say grab another clone and have at it! hope all is well brother man.

I like what your saying about the transplanting and everything. I might have transplanted into the new soil when I switching to flowering, and I may have also fed them the MG but I really was trying to limit my nutes because I was scared of nute burn and stuff. Only two feedings of the MG can do this I guess. Man, I need to find a hydro shop close by or nursery that sells better nutes. I am having a hard time finding good nutes. I have been to about 6 different nurseries around here, and they all sucked ass. I got this maxi-cal from armstrongs and I just gave them some of that it has 10% calcium, and a little magnesium, because I really think it has some cal/mag issues, and that was the only thing I could find! They are still getting worse slowly, but I am hoping I will at least have some decent smoke if it all doesn't go to shit. I have definetely learned a lot though, and I think my next grow will be much better. I am waiting for my local dispensary to get some clones in.

sorry bud- didn't get your response till now...

is this problem slowing down the swelling at all on your gal? or has it stopped completely? if its not to much to ask i'd love to see an update if possible..

also keep your head up- its your first run- you'll see people with 10+ runs still making silly blunders here and there, stay positive and trust this- when you first puff your own herb- there is no feeling like it.... just something about homegrown(your own that is) that words just cant do justice to

Ya it definetely slowed my swelling down, because it was getting larger almost daily, and them just sort of stopped. I'm not surprised considering I don't have any fan leaves left. I found a hydro store with the fox farms trio of nutes and picked them up for my next go round. I flushed her and that seems to have helped a little. I will try to post an update of my crispy pllant tommorrow. Many of the hairs have turned brown, but it just doesn't look ready. I'm thinking they turned brown more so because of whatever was going on than actually being ready. What should I do? Keep em going? Or chop her now? It's about 45 days in right now.

keep her going man- for sure....

you experienced first hand what a "hot" soil like foxfarm will do when hit with MG and you can now say from first hand knowledge FU*K MIRACLE GROW, shit sucks......

however if that is your only space and you have money for another clone i say chop her down and go for it- make some butter out of her and call it a day- you got the nutes- you got the lights, it's ultimately up to you bud- if you dont have any leaves left there wont be much photosynthesis going on from here on out- i say let her go a little bit longer- find a strain you really like- do some research on her and have at it......

you feeling the bug yet? (the addiction from growing in other words?)

Sorry I haven't posted lately. Well, I finally got on top of the problem about 3 weeks ago. When I thought I had flushed my soil earlier, I now realize that it was enough water to give it a good flush. So I tool her outside and just used my hose and flushed the shit out of her! Low and behold a few days later I'm seeing new pistils popping up and no more dying leaves. The thing is that she doesn't have any fan leaves but has Tue sugar leaves and such, even though most of those have those brown spots on maybe half the leaf. Regardless I kept her going and it def cut down on the yield because she didn't fatten up too much more. But its now at 60 days and not sure due to the nute lockout if she should go longer. Most of the trichs are cloudy and I see some amber for sure. So ya, I have learned what a proper flush is, and that seemed to be the issue so I'm excited to see what I can do with my next grow.
