First Grow (Outdoors) Blue Dream/ OG Kush

So my babies are a 1 month and 17 days old. Both are clones straight from one of the club's here in San Jose, Ca. One is Blue Dream and the other OG Kush. I have them in each in their own 5 gallon fabric pot. I had them on a 12/12 cycle this last week (take them out in the morning and bring them in at night) but ended it yesterday night. In the past 2 weeks I gave each plant a tablespoon of Mexican Bat Guano and they seem to be doing fine. I also sprayed them with some Neem Oil last week to ensure no mites would attack my plants. And another thing I water them every other day, mostly when the leaves start to droop. Other than the Neem Oil and Bat Guano I've been going all natural, I'm even using Fox Farm Ocean Breeze.

That's pretty much it. Just want to know if I could leave them in there pots for the whole grow.

And if anyone has specifically grown BLUE DREAM or OG KUSH CLONES if they have any advice please share.

Please if you have any tips, comments, or tips please let me know.IMG_20140512_101407.jpgIMG_20140512_101421.jpg IMG_20140512_101357.jpg IMG_20140512_101428.jpg IMG_20140512_101407.jpg

Why would you force flower so early on, you could have gotten way more but if you just waited a couple weeks or a month, anyways all natural soil is more like super soil than fox farms. I would add molasses in once a week to get those buds kicking.

By bringing the plants in on a 12/12 cycle is what cause plants to start the flowering phase, that's why in in the later seasons people harvest there plants because the light cycle changes from about 16/8 to 12/12 over the course of the the 6 month grow period. Fox farm soil is the most natural soil to use, its good, but super-soil is a homemade soil that uses all the right chemicals and such so the plant doesn't need any added nutrients it uses mycorrhizae that helps the plant( and all plants) grow well on land. Its not that complicated to do do, and you get a lot fresher buds, I only add a couple of organic things to the water to help it grow. If you do decide to make super-soil for your next grow hit me up I will give you some tips if you want some 1 on 1 help. Right now I would get so jacks classic bloom booster nutes for your plants since your still new and only use about what is half on the label, and stop using them for the last 2 weeks of growing.

Wow I wish I had knew that! Well at least I know for next grow.. I'll definitely take you up on that offer, I need all the help I can get. So I have Mexican Bat Guano too, should I continue to use this along with the jacks classic bloomer and molasses? I trimmed my plants too because I heard the buds would get more nutrients if I cut off the fan leaves, was that a good idea? Also I won't be able to purchase anything until Thursday, should they be fine without those nutrients till than? And let's say if I got more clones Thursday will they flower before winter or is it too late in the season?IMG_20140516_153045.jpg IMG_20140516_153038.jpg There small I know.

Yeah you should be fine until then. I thought bat guano is something you add to the soil and not to the water. If it works keep on doing it, I never looked up the chemicals in it. Jacks Classic is great, I would also pick up some all purpose jack classics too, for when you veg next. Just remember to only add about what half of the label, and only feed it molasses once or twice a week. DO you let your water sit and get all of the trace chlorine out. if you don't I would, in case you have city water with that trace amount. Just get a 5 gallon bucket, or ten gallon tote(preferred) and a water heater for fish tanks and an optional air stone, to oxygenate the water. Also keep taking in your plants on a 12/12 schedule. DO NOT TRIM ANY UNNECESSARY PARTS OF THE PLANT, I only trim the leaves that are in the way of the buds, you want as much direct sunlight on the buds for denser bigger buds. That being said sometimes its better just to cut off the really low buds because you would trim too many fan leaves away. The fan leaves hold nutrients the plants produce, so be careful with how many you trim off. That being said I would fret if it looks like you have trimmed too many off.

Bat Guano is a soil topping, I don't use it with water. So jacks classic, all purpose jacks classic, and molasses once to twice a weak, got it. Yeah I clean the trace two days before watering.. Yeah I kinda cut off a few leafs I probably shouldn't have, most of the ones I did though where blocking sunlight from the buds. The girls have been off the 12/12 for three days now, put them back on it?

If it hasn't started budding I would just keep em' out there, if they are budding I would keep on taking them in. If you want to, and your plants are not in flower, you can keep em going for a couple more weeks then take have of your plants and force flower them, then you have buds earlier, and have 2 harvest times then you can puff on that magic-dragon a little early.

Has no nutrients in it just used to hold water, no nutrients in that, I personally shy away from that and make my own super-soil blend, more natural, I don't use any chemical nutrients and its so much better tasting. When I did use nutes I used happy frog soil from fox farms, Ocean forest is just as good, with Jack's classics and it work well. I would try making some super soil for your next grow though.
