first grow, outdoors

Started growing a seed and now it is about 10 inches tall. I leave it outdoors at all times. I used soil from the yard and have not added nutrients. However, the bottom leaves have started turning yellow. From this point I do not know what to do next....

Let it grow. My thoughts on outdoor grows, unless in a greenhouse, is that Mother Nature will take care of her own.
