First Grow Please Help

Hi, This is my first grow. I wanted to try some free seeds before germinating my $10.00 a piece seeds. Using info that I got from this site my first attempt went much better than I expected. I actually had to build a larger grow room to accomodate my 4 plants. I looked with a magnifying glass, and from what I can tell they all appear to be female. I took some pics and was hoping someone could tell from the pics. They are only 1 week on 12 -12 and don't know exactly what to look for or if they are mature enough to tell. Could someone with expierience take a look? My pics may not be clear enough but all I can see are two small spike things. Thanks.

looking good man. cant tell much from your pics the parts i need to look at are very unfocused. but once they reach maturity you will either see little white hairs at the bud sites or little balls. hairs=female balls=male. its all pretty clear. they should show very soon good luck

Gonna need in focus pics of the internodes zoomed in as much as you can. The leaves and tops of the plants look identical for sexing purposes. Glad you've been having good success man!

Thanks for the input. I will keep a close watch on them. Hopefully I can get some cleaner pics if I use a tripod. Is there actually a possibility that they could all be female????

Its real easy to tell man. Every internode will have the tiny little jet of green coming from it. The girls have an extra green/white hair, the boys have balls.

If your plant grows balls, its a boy. If the internodes have ball shaped things, its a boy. No need for interpretation. The girls will show 1 hair, not balls. I seriously doubt you hit the jackpot of 4 girls. Statistically almost impossible. Its a repeating probability statistic of 50/50 x 4. First time you got a 50% chance of it being a girl. If its a girl the second plant has a 32% chance. If thats a girl your next plant has a 13% chance. If thats female too your last plant has a 4% chance. If you keep popping males your girl chance goes from 50% to 68% then 87% then 96%. I started out initially with 4 seeds and by golly did I memorize those numbers ;)

Thank all of you for advice. I am dedicated to learning as much as possible from people who know. I hope at least one of my nicer plants is a girl. I would eventually like to attempt cloning, but think I will gain a bit more expierience first!! Thanks again. I will post more pics when I can determine sex. I see no balls, just two spike type things on the part where stems meet the main stalk. Time will tell.

Hi, I have been keeping a close watch since switching to 12 -12 and see these spike things at the internodes and now can see very fine white hairs also. I took this pic on a tripod and remembered to turn fan off this time so plant would stop moving around. I think I was stoned when I took last pics and did not think to shut fan off before shooting pics. Maybe it is still too early for me to tell. How long do you have before getting the males out before pollenation? I think I am getting a bit anxious and don't want to fuck up. Thanks for your help. I would be lost without input from veteran growers. I posted a couple pics of my new grow room. It is in my wood working shop and blends in well.
