Hey guys i had the idea of having a tall cardboard box and having the inside white and putting the light and pot in there, but i'm afraid the light might cause a fire hazard with the box, could you grow a plant to bud from your window sill?

any help would be great
thanks

Dont do the box thing unless you make sure to avoid the fire risks. Growing in a window will only be so productive. Maybe a steel would work. Like a locker type.

Growing in your window is not going to work, you will end up with a plant that looks like a bean plant, skinny and lanky and no good.:joint:

Not necessarily,i mean obviously youre not talking massive yield but with the right conditions it can be done to a worthwhile standard.

Case in point, mine were started on a windowsill (in manchester uk) until they reached a couple of feet (they didnt stretch too badly as i kept them on a west facing windowsill) then i started to in and out them every day in their pots. (take em out in the morning, bring em back in at night)

Theyre now four foot apiece and i reckon im looking at a couple of oz wet per plant, not bad for windowsill plants.

If you dont have accesss to lights or growspace and outside is out of the question then windowsill is the way to go, as long as you keep lowish expecatations you wont be dissapointed.
