First grow progress questions

#1 the plants have been flowering for 29 days, I have 5 nice females with nice 1-2 ince top "colas" question is this the plants grew like crazy first 2 weeks of 12/12 and now that the buds are arriving it seems growth and flowering have slowed or is flowering a slower process?? says it takes 8-10 weeks to finsih

#2 plants are same strain but 2 have pure white "hairs" all over the top and secondary colas, but the others are sick with red hairs, whats the deal??

sorry i am new but atleast i picked something cool to start doing!!
any help would be appreciated

#1 your plant will grow 1/2 to a whole time larger than what it was in veg, that's normal... you plants growing tall has nothing to do with growing bud, it actually takes away from energy it would be using to grow the bud. if it has stopped growing then it's focusing on making bud now.
#2 when the buds become mature they begin to turn orange, brown. if you want to know when your plant is done you need look at the trichs under a magnifying glass 30-80X. when they're ripe you'll be able to see spikes with balls on the end all over everything... when the spikes start to bend, the plant is perfect to cut

so now they are flowering the growth will slow and the buds will fill in?

correct. just give them time

and the white hairs are normal
