First grow questions

Im thinking of doing a grow of 1 or 2 plants for personal. We have an airing cupboard that is 90 x 67 x 200 or under the stairs which is 90 x 120 x 160. Im unsure which location will be the best to place it? Do the tents make a lot of noise with fans etc ? As the airing cupboard is next to the bedroom and on the wall that joins us to the neighbors. Under the stairs is right next to a external door on the side of the house. There is about 10 ft between that door and the other neighbors. Which place do you think would be sutible for the tent set up ? Or Should i not bother with a tent and just kit out under the stairs without tent Cheers Stone

I flower in a spare bathroom so a cupboard would be effective. Just make sure you have good air turnover. Welcome to RIU.

If you don't need the under the stairs area for something, I would do that. I just started growing on 1/1 and I have two tents. The advantage being you can take the thing down and pack it up. I am not planning on making structural changes at this house because I'm trying to move this year, so that's what I did. The disadvantage is its a tent. You can't mount stuff to the walls, it can be challenging to manage the temperature, and its not as sturdy as the four walls you have if you're working in a regular room. That being said, my system is working and I'm about to pull the first plant out to harvest. My issues are 90% temperature, and that's only going to get worse because winter is over. You'll learn though. Once the first beans sprout, your life will never be the same. Good luck!
