i have 31-3-8 fertilizer which is extremely high in nitrogen, and i have normal 10 10 10 fert, which one would be better for vegging? i already have some 10 10 10 in my grow pots so i was thinking just add a bit of the 31 3 8, does that sound proper or flawed... i have one seedling, its about an inch long green crack plant and i have only 1 20 watt florescent 24 inch light, what kind of 100w - 150w hps light and ballast should i upgrade to

Uhh...isn't green crack a clone only plant?

Well first off..the 31-3-8 will be great for veg...just don't use it at full strength.

Second...the flouro' will work ok for now...just keep it close to the top of the plant. Since you have 1 plant make a small space and place it and the light in it and line it with mylar...or if you have a space in a closet that is painted white, will work.

Thirdly...if your planing on taking clones from your plant...assuming that you will wait till preflowering to begin to determine sex....you will end up needing a bigger light for flowering...get at least a 400W...cause in the end you probably need it. Growing maryjane becomes addicting in ways.

Tin foil is bad...plain white paint is MUCH better!!!

Do you live with parents?

If you got them from a bag of greencrack....then the female plant it came from was pollenated by some other male, which now makes it an unknown strain...could be good...could be bad. Im pretty sure greencrack in a clone only plant though.

The average living room consumes 1000-2000W of electricity...so a dinky 250W HPS isn't going to show very much...maybe $10 a month more TOPS!!! I use a 400W and i only noticed a $25 dollar increase...but that's with 2 airconditions running almost all day and some of the night.

never use any type of foil because any crease , bump or uneven area can cause a hot spot , either use flat white paint or poly with a white side and black side

Hydro shops. You can even use the inside of chip bags...or use the shiny holographic wrapping paper...it's mylar based.

O....ya get some all purpose then...that's made for plants. If you have a hydro shop go to one and pay a little more $$ for some good shit.
