**First Grow Season 2010 BEGINS**

How are you transplanting them? Are you digging a hole and filling that up with your soil choice, or going Native soil? As for me I think I might stay with buckets. Just incase I will need to move them somewhere else but hopefully I wont.

Well I'm going to check and see if my new planted seeds sprouted in a lil bit. I will post pics on my biggest plant to.

The autoflower actually is ak47xlowryder #2 :/ but it is still pretty close so I wanna see pics of both at the end! One of mine got eaten and the other one left is weird it is soo much taller then my other plants but is only just starting its 3rd node and it cant even hold itself up...and it still hasnt shown signs of sex! Im gonna take some pictures and start a grow journal tomorow hopefully cuz the rest are lookin gooood and I've got big plans for my first grow and I forgot to add up there that I got a UFO seed trailing 3 weeks behind as a result of replacing it for 3 plants that didnt make it

dude the bags are soo bad to carry I always have my buddy come help the days I gotta move dirt lol lucky I only got 1 more trip left.

For transplanting I am digging huge holes because the soil is awesome, a lot of clay. But it lacks a lot of nutrients so I mix a a whole 49 quart bag of FF up with it probaly 3:2 ratio with more of the FF. I couldn't decide on what to do with bucket or no bucket so I Im thinkin about doing 2 of the plants with 5 gal pots and the rest soil. Got 2 in soil already.

Gonna grab some of the FF nutes tomorrow too

O well haha I guess we can compare our harvest with each others then. I'm going to have to say my quility may not be as good as yours for the fact that your growing in some good grow medium, while I'm growing in some soil I never heard really grow with. But all seems good so far.

So your saying your ak is stretching? Are you growing these outdoors or indoors. Always make sure you get them enough sun/indoor light. I'm sure you already know this but thats usually the main cause for that. Well since its getting tall have you thought of LSTing it. Haha I dont know how well that works but if its not really holding itself up anymore LSTing could help

I envy you and your buddy. I wish I had some help with my bags. The hike is like 2.7 miles. Omg I wish I had help. I didnt think it would be a big deal untill I had to do it lol. But glad I got that over with.

Got some needed updates to share!

To start things off I would like to say so far things are going 99.7% correct with my operation. There may be a tad things I might not being doing right, but so far everything is working out.

I first noticed when I got to my spot my Sourcream has been sprouted and is currently growing its first set of leaves. Still in the party cup

With the ak47, and TrainWreck both seeds have popped out of the soil and about to break free from the seed. I'm expecting to have there leaves growing by late afternoon tomorrow. They are both in party cups as well to.

But my other 2 seeds that have been a little ahead have been transplanted into there new home of a 5gal bucket. It was my first transplant so I hope I didnt do anything wrong. It was hard at first I wasn't to sure on how to open the cup so I can just take the soil that is formed like the cup and place that into a lil hole in the soil I dug. Instead when I tried to take it out both time the soil kinda crushed on me while I was about to put them in the holes. The main thing I'm concerned is the soil like stopped the roots from growing since the way I transplanted it. They look good after words but only time will tell if I did it correctly plus I have 3 more transplants to go once the strains are ready.

So does anyone have any easy transplanting tips to transplant from a party cup?

Well its been a few days since the transplant and they seem to be doing great and healthy! And my new seedlings are also doing great. Very healthy set of its first leaves.

Plus I would like to note I'll be adding the strain joint doctors " purple jems " auto flower to my grow I'm getting to just incase one turns male since I bought 2 seeds non femized. I will keep you posted once I get my new seeds

HAha yea man I thought well since the normal strains take longer why not get some that will be ready in half the time that way I'll have some bud from the auto's while more bud is being produced on the regular strains genius well not genius but yea.

And see the thing is Idk if I should LST my big one since I do believe it is an autoflower. I mean it is bagseed well not bag seed my friend sold me seeds but it came from my friends grow. It has all the characteristics as one, its short started to flower on week 2 1/2 growing in height kinda siezed so I dont think it's going to get much bigger. BUUT I do plan on LST'ing my trainwreck

Some UpdateS!


To start things off my lil plats have been growing great in the past week. They have been getting water pretty much everyday. My biggest one has been getting nute water everyday and seems to be liking it. Next water I'm going to feed it regular water though. All my new seedlings are on there 2nd set of leaves. The trainwreck seems to be the tallest followed by the Ak47 then the Sourcream but none the less they all look quit healthy. (Pics attached)

But I noticed my big plant has been attracting critters from the woods that is eating parts of my leaves. I'm not sure whats eating it but everyday it seems like its getting worse. It might be spidermites I'm not sure anyone know a insecticide on spraying these plants its making little holes in the leaves as seen in the pics. And for people that thinks it isnt flowering or if it still might be grown into a male, its def a female and IS flowering already as the pics speak for themselves! haha anyways so if anyone knows a good organic safe spray I can spray on the plants to keep the critters away PLEASE TELLL!!! I dont want my baby dying on me

Well recently I went out and bought some organic "eco safe" mite spray at the hardware store. And I sprayed my biggest plant and a little on my 2 other plants that look like they had a few bites on the leaves.

So 2 days have passed and when I went to go check on them today it looks like the leaves I sprayed the spray on kinda shriveled up. Now I'm not sure if its from the spray or from my own organic sprayed I made up not long ago. Are the leaves fine? Should I keep the leaf on the plant or should I cut it off to save some of its energy on regrowing that leave or something.


Other then that they look great and hopefully it will stay that way. Now enjoy the pics

cool, plants are looking great. This is a setup just like my grow, i have 5 5gal buckets that look to be around the same height as your main plants(except the large one). Hope it goes well for you

Real nice grow man, right along the same lines as what im doing this year. I have 6 plants in the same kind of buckets as u, only problem is u have some nice strains in there n all I got is a bunch of random bagseed. Dont get me wrong soem of the weed i got the seeds from was pretty powerful. Hope all goes well for u and ur girls !

haha hell yea man hopeyours go well to have they shown sex yet?

Man it sure would have been nice to have the inernet back when I first tried growing some smoke..Most of all my mistakes could have been fixed..Heck maybe it would not have taken 3 years to get a harvest. Hey your plants are doing good, It takes the fun outta growing weed if you ever "do it" to make money do it for yourself and it will always be a good time, thats my advice

Nope not yet but theres alot of growing between the nodes, probably be another 2-3 weeks befor I knwo for sure.
