First grow setup- good enough?

haha yeah no offense taken, i knew tin foil was notorious for hot spots and not much for reflection. the setup is in a corner of a closet, so im considering getting some plywood, making a box, and painting the insides white. probably worth the 20 or 30 bucks i would spend on wood and paint, right? thanks agin for all the help guys i really appreciate it

is it ok for the stem to be red as a seedling? the third set of leaves is small yet visible and i was worried about the stem being dark red and not green

the third pic is a seed that popped but after a couple days hasnt done anything so im gonna wait a day or two and then probly ditch it

day 5. i give them a couple sprays during the day and one or two tablespoons of water each night. still on 24/0. looks like i may be down to these two

so its day 7, got some miracle grow bloom booster today. going to start watering with nutrients at the end of week 2. i am thinking of switching to 12/12 after two weeks of veg under 24/0 to make sure im not wasting my time with males. would it be a good idea to go to 18/6 for their second week or should i stick with 24 and go straight to 12/12?
