First grow..share the knowledge with shady.

Yeah , somebody beat me to the punch ....

Pull the Warm ( 2700k ) and switch CFL to ( 6400k/5000k ) DAYLIGHT bulbs, they will respond better to them.

As your plant grows you can yeah. If it's photo period plant you can transplant. It will stress plant be ok after few days. Do not do it now, wait till it's bigger and healthy.

lets see what week 3 looks like.

Also next time you do soil fill all the way up. Then pick it up and drop it. Do this 10 times add more dirt. Do not compact with hands you'll make it harder for plants to grow. Remember they want loose dirt easier for roots to move through.

Think I read somewhere that burring the stem could cause rot or something. Are you saying to add it under the plant or add additional on top? Thanks for the help. This is a learning process for me until I get skilled enough to put some work into something with a little more prestige.

You can transplant it later then bud. I leave it be and let it get bigger, no need to do it yet.

So today the plants were dry so I got the RO water and gave them some love. But I had NO runoff at the bottom and I have alot of holes for drainage. My soil isn't compacted and I have gently squezzed the sides just to give it a little looser feeling. My soil has perlite but not as much as I would like. Next time I am definitely going for at least 30% perlite to help the water drain. But for NOW what would be my best course of action? Let it dry and continue to water like I am? Feeling the bottom of the pot I can feel moister that wasn't there before I watered, just no runoff..

Thanks

Figured pouring until water came out would be overkill but I'm not that experienced so I rather ask than risk over watering like I did before

Seedlings like it warm. You probably don't need to be running an ac in there.

As far as watering tap water is fine, save your money for more cfl's
add some more soil to your pots, gently around your plant. fill it almost to your 1st set of leaves
the plants look a bit yellow, from being over waterd roots need oxygen. over watering isn't the volume of water it's how often you're watering. The soil needs to dry between waterings.

I'm just having a problem with runoff. That's the only thing right now. I've already corrected the soil issue

Don't go for run off for a while. You will over water too much doing that. They need to get a bit bigger befor u do that.

You don't need run off right now. When it get bigger you will water more and it will come.

Np remember it's a weed, they are hard to kill easy to grow. For now check once a day let it grow. More you open to look at it, less light it gets, ,ore risk to pests.

Thinking about flowering at week 3 as my space is about 4 to 4 1/2 feet tall. What are everyone's idea on this? I can leave it in flower the time it needs which if I'm correct is usually around 7 weeks. I just don't want to make a new space, though I could if I HAD to. 3 weeks or whenever it gets about a foot. Opinions???
those seedlings?? 3 weeks?? no no my friend.. maybe 8 weeks with cfls and another 8 to 10 weeks in flower. just my opinion, and like budzilla was saying...get the daylight bulbs BRIGHT WHITE . then when in flower used those soft white bulbs..

Weed IS a plant .

Weed definition : a valueless plant growing wild, especially one that grows on cultivated ground to the exclusion or injury of the desired crop.
