First grow. Should I transplant?

So I have two 20 week old outdoor grown plants. When they were about 1 1/2- 2 months old I transplanted them into 1 gallon pots. They should start flowering very soon. And there size is perfect for where I live. So is it to late to transplant them? And should I transplant if i can? I don't want them to get that much bigger but don't want the buds to be affected? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!

Hey, heres a handy tip!
Imagine a pot is like a fence. The plant (theoretically) cannot grow past the fence because its root will not support its size. So judging by those pictures the lower yellowing leaves, and if you notice any leaves that are outside the pot's "fence" are starting to yellow! that is an easy sign of rootbound plants! Hope that helps :)

Well...kinda late in the game, but I would go for it...but let the pots dry out first...this makes it easier to remove plants...what size pots you planning to use???and where are you at that an outside plant hasn't started to bud yet...unless you got an equatorial strain that wont bud till November
Be gentil when transplanting and fill the pots

Transplant for sure. Break up the dirt and root ball well before replanting. WATER only after transplanting until they show renewed growth. Then veg nutes until the 3rd week of flower.
