First grow: Simple electrical questions? Help

this will be my first grow :)

i have setup the room but there is no power going to the room, i can not get a electrician because i dont think he will buy "im growing tomatos" so im going to have to go by this myself - i have no idea how to do electricity, i already electricuted myself once from the mains setting the room up

items running:
250 WATT HPS
x3 20W CFL lamps
x1 HEAT MAT
X1 PUMP
X1 FREESTANDING FAN
X1 COMPUTER FAN

i have a whole in the wall which i could fit a wire through so i could thread a extension through from the other room but i don't believe this is good in the long run.



also my computer fan i made myself out of a old computer, it is running from a 3v charga, i havn't installed it yet but it doesnt seem to be strong enough to extract air, should i put a 12v on it, how much electricity will that use?

im not sure why you need a comp fan when you have the free standing one,the comp fans are not worth the headache in a fair sized space,if your extension cord is 15 amp you are ok,but dont understand what your asking.

your cord will be fine,like i said the small comp fans i find the plugs heat up and are not efficient enough to jig around with.good luck.

if you have a hole in the wall already can you fish a wire down to your panel box? If you can then you can add a breaker (if there is a empty spot) and put it on its own circuit. Then just wire a outlet to the end in your room and good to go maybe make a box to mount it in. just a idea really easy to do

dont you need special types of wire and that for it? like 12 guage or somin

get a 12v dc power adapter for the fan and it wil push 4 times more air, for the cfls get a few shop lights with clamps and metal reflectors, a few bucks at home improvement store or wallmart....the rest can be power with an extension cord to a power strip.. any thing else?

is it a flower or veg room??? i suggest more cfls.. they make for mean crystal production.. noticibly more than hps alone
